This is a world class museum in every regard. It is extremely well organized and curated – more in the “modern domain” of clean and well presented (but fewer) artifacts but no dusty cases. I regret that we did not come here on our first visit to Spain because it really lays out the history and evolution of Espana. I...

"A stately square"
reviewed 1 week ago by mireio75
Puerta de Alcala is one of the most beautiful squares in all of Madrid. Besides the monumental portal in its center and the beautiful landscaping around it, there is also the main entrance to the enchanting parco del Retiro that you must see. Several cafes with sheltered outdoor area line the square's west side. I warn you: they are expensive....
We visited the restaurant with a friend as it was located close to our hotel. We could not be more positively surprised- despite the local was full on Monday, the staff found us a table and I must say we were treated like 2 princesses by the waiter named Francisco. Regarding the food i have no words... Everything we have...

Great place, quite friendly staff, you can visit their kitchen too and verify it's neatness , cleanings and tidiness, well trained and quite friendly staff personnel. great value for money, good and reasonable varieties for food. Recommended if you are in Madrid.
We ate here twice while spending time in Madrid, once for lunch and once for dinner. We had two great meals, trying different things. The provolone secchi al forno is so good we had it a second time. The staff is friendly and attentive.

We were served by Jota, who dis an excellent job. The quality of the food is good and price/quality I doubt whether you would find better. We had the tasting menu for €33, which was more than sufficient.
It is a magnificent and excellent boutique hotel, with a complete quality and service. well above the city average.
You have to stay here to enjoy the true charm of a hotel.
Everything that is perceived and savored, as well as the dedication of his exalted persnal, is little to summarize in this comment.

Very Beautiful and quaint boutique hotel in a quiet and chic area of Madrid close to Parque del Retiro.
The service was superb. Rebecca at the front desk treated us like she had known us for a long time even though it was our first time at the hotel.
The room was spacious and decorated with great touch and sophistication....
Excellent hotel, get the breakfast it’s totally worth it. Rooms are nice too.staff is good and it’s well located. We had a small misunderstanding during our stay and the hotel staff resolved it instantly.
