The sounds of Marina Olympica's rocking boats and clicking mastheads swaying to and fro set an impressive backdrop for Ciutadella and Villa Olimpica. Follow the aromas of garlic, wine, and fresh local fish to the various restaurants running along the marina. A grand bronze fish statue soaring high above serves as a beacon to those searching for the renowned Casino Barcelona or the extremely popular nightclubs which practically lie on the beach itself.
The morning was very relaxing sipping coffee in front of the beautiful fountain. Strolling through the well kept gardens will bring you many sights sounds and fragrances. You never know what you’ll find in the park. Numerous sculptures are located throughout as well as a wooly mammoth. You can rent a row boat and paddle through the centrally located pond...
We visited the Platja de la Nova Icaria beach the day after we went to Barceloneta. We preferred this beach over the first as there were less people (still busy though) and the water seemed cleaner and clearer.
It’s a little further from the mariner but we found the walk worth it.

I came here for breakfast every day during my stay in Barcelona. Every dish was tasty, perfectly made and beautifully presented on a plate, the coffee was good as well. The staff was very friendly, welcoming. The atmosphere was cozy, relaxed and free. Definitely worth of visiting.

Just I noticed that their services to the Americans elevated to excellence when they encounter Amercian guests, they all look more happy and forthcoming whenever they are serving the American guests.
My conclusion is, if you are...
Great rooms, nice rooftop floor with a pool and bar! The beakfast had many nice alternatives but was too crowded because of poor logistics. The hotel is a little bit off from the city but we walked anyway, no problem with good shoes. Close to the beach!
The hotel is in an excellent location and ther staff is extremely pleasant and helpful. We loved our room and the view of the beach we just wish the air conditioner was working a little better. The restaurant staff is extremely attentive and the food is great especially the Paella. The one issue I feel they need to address is...
Stayed for three nights at this convenient location. Although the room were small it's value for money. Very friendly staff who made our stay pleasant. We would certainly recommend this hotel to our friends who intend visiting Barcelona.
