Once a downtrodden corner of downtown Barcelona, this gritty area has seen a cultural resurgence boasting an excellent nightlife and one of the most multi ethnic spots in the entire city. A sense of humble authenticity protrudes from the many independent record stores, second hand shops, and student bars that seem to light up the streets day and night. The rocking epicenter, the MACBA Plaça, is a modern day forum for bohemian youth, abuzz with the sights and sounds of late-night gatherings and talented skateboarders showing off their latest tricks.
We were in the area so popped in for a late afternoon visit. The audio tour was very good. The home is incredible. Gaudi had such an incredible mind to be able to envision such a wonderful design. Enjoyed hearing the organ play and the rooftop deck was very interesting.

reviewed 4 days ago by nicolev975
The former hospital is an amazing Art Nouveau Site that is worth a visit. Its history goes back to the beginning of 15th century. It comprises pavilions, gardens and underground tunnels. Each of the 27 buildings was assigned to a different medical field. The exhibition leads you through the history of medicine and rehabilitation. The outdoor area is a beautiful...
"Order a litre of Sangria and watch the world go by"
reviewed yesterday by Lovetotravel6365
Amazing atmosphere, the place is thronging with people. Just order some tapas and a litre of Sangria and enjoy watching the world go by. Amazing street entertainment too and we were delighted by an 83 year old flamenco dancer who was so grateful, polite and a happy person.
Sant Pau Del Camp is one of the oldest churches in the Raval neighbourhood, it's a beautiful church set in its own grounds.
A former monastery that once stood outside the city walls which gives the church it's name Saint Paul Of The Countryside or In The Fields ,it's a 14 century church ,it's beautiful facade is very evocative and...

"Wow - tasty"
reviewed 2 days ago by X4295RVtom_b
Wow! We had found this street food by tripadvisors recommendation and thank You for that :) The food was perfect, fresh, very very tasty and also the staff was nice. Ideal choice if You are hungry and do not want to spend a ton of money for bulls*it 🙃. Rhe price is also very good. Totally recommend 😊👌🏻
Great place and excellent service! The staff is lovely and waiters wear super nice and colorful vests! I had the chance to sit at the bar counter and be served by one of the bartenders, Alessio, who was very friendly and professional. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a cool place in Barcelona to spend some good...
We were taken here as a group one night. I'm not the gourmet type of person but I guess this is the gourmet experience you can have for an affordable price. Everything was so fresh, delicious and yummy! Red wine flowed like a dream. Every single table was full, and the restaurant hosted a lively crowd all night long. I...
The staff were very nice enough to accommodate us despite not having a reservation. (Lunch)
We ordered the scallops, mussels and lobster cream paella. Everything was amazing! The paella was big enough for 3 persons.
We also had the almond pie with coffee ice cream which was nice and light. Perfect ending!
We have stayed at Casa Camper twice and we wouldn't stay anywhere else in Barcelona. They strive for excellence in everything they do, from answering all of your questions pre-visit to every aspect of your stay. Take advantage of the rooftop honesty bar, a great way to relax at the end of day. If the service wasn't enough the rooms...
"Beautiful hotel in a great spot with great service"
reviewed 2 days ago by Andrew S
Stayed here for one week. The staff are excellent. The room is very comfortable. The conference staff and restaurant were fantastic in helping us host a group of 80. The hotel is situated right on la rambla where all the fun is.
First - Uber works very well in Barcelona - better than taxi.
Hotel location perfect for sightseeing and stuff - right on La Rambla (like Santa Monica Promenade on steroids) and right next to La Boqueria (good size market place, one of the sights to visit) and by the Gothic Quarter. Plaza Real (a big square full of restaurants etc.)...
This is my second extended stay at the Midmost. The first time I had a corner suite with several sets of French doors, and I loved the room. This time I paid more but had an interior standard room that was fair. The design of the hotel is very nice. The location is the best in Barcelona, in my opinion....
The people at the front desk were fantastic, warm, friendly, inviting and super helpful. They all spoke english very well and were happy to help us with directions and info on how to get where we needed to go, etc. The location of the hotel is fantastic, right off Plaça de Catalyuna, with restaurants and shopping everywhere and a metro...
