Once a downtrodden corner of downtown Barcelona, this gritty area has seen a cultural resurgence boasting an excellent nightlife and one of the most multi ethnic spots in the entire city. A sense of humble authenticity protrudes from the many independent record stores, second hand shops, and student bars that seem to light up the streets day and night. The rocking epicenter, the MACBA Plaça, is a modern day forum for bohemian youth, abuzz with the sights and sounds of late-night gatherings and talented skateboarders showing off their latest tricks.

Firstly, I didn't have to pay an entry fee due to the attraction being free on the first Sunday of a month (though you do need to pre-book the ticket in advance still). It really was quite interesting, and I really enjoyed my visit. The views from the top of the building particularly with the ceramic art incorporated was particularly...

Our Guide Pedro was very enthusiastic and explained in great detail the old hospital and history of the place.
Great stories of this great building and the life of the hospital.
Me and my partner went to this restaurant for my birthday and they were so welcoming! They showed us both up and downstairs as they have two different menus, we needed up staying downstairs. Food was delicious, and Brian (think I have the name right) our waiter was really nice. We went in a Thursday bid apparently they have live...
I'm glad we booked ahead at this trendy tapas restaurant near the Las Ramblas strip. The menu is innovative and everything we ordered was outstanding. We had three starters and two entrees which was plenty for two people. A fun evening!

Trendy little place next to the Museum of Contemporary art. Ordered a few small plates to share, all of which were very tasty, excellent nachos and patatas bravas.Fairly small choice from menu but don't let that put you off as it all looked very good and well presented. I would say it is more bar than restaurant but well worth a...
Went here with a bunch of backpackers we had met and had no idea what their food was like but we decided to give it a go. The burgers were amazing and it was very fast service. They have a veggie option which was great and the burger bun was perfection!
Stayed for two nights in March in one of the suites. Cannot fault this hotel at all.
Check in was quick and simple and we were given a quick tour of the place whilst being checked in. Not a very big hotel but has everyhing we needed for a short break. The room itself was large with a seperate lounge...
Stayed here just before the Covid outbreak in March and it was a great hotel. Location was amazing being a five minute walk from Plaça De Catalunya where we TMB metro rode in and Aerobus’ed out from. Both trips about €6 and 30 mins from the airport
Right on La Rambla so everything is either within a 15 min walk...
Small luxurious independent boutique type hotel on the middle of La Rambla. Impossible to get a better position for a sight seeing. Despite our room
facing directly onto La Rambla the room was VERY quiet and peaceful, there was no traffic noise. Friendly helpful service. Lovely rooftop terrace.
We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. Our room was very clean and comfortable. The location is great - we were able to walk and/or take nearby public transportation to anywhere in Barcelona. The staff was bilingual and very helpful. This is a sweet, cozy little hotel that felt very personal. We plan to return next year and will...
My husband loved staying at this hotel. The location and service from the staff was outstanding! Victor, Andres and Jonathan took care of all our needs and went above and beyond for us! We will return to this hotel on our next trip to Barcelona! Outstanding service from the team of staff.
