No Berlin neighborhood is more popular with the young and jet-set crowd than the old worker's district of Neukölln. With so many Turkish settled here, the area became known as "Little Istanbul." Today the percentage of foreigners is still high and visitors still frequent the Turkish shisha bars. In the daytime, they also visit the designer shops and sit by the canal in one of the street cafés up and down Westerstrasse or at Maybachufer, having a beer and waving to the sightseeing boats as they float by. But at night, Neukölln is dominated by increasingly young, alternative, and international crowds. This is particularly evident in the northern section of the district where there are many bars, funky clubs, galleries and restaurants. There, the night never seems to end.
This park is small and immaculately sculpted with statuary and stone balustrades outlining the perimeter. The trees are big and beautiful and there is a cafe built into one of the side walls. Neukoln has plenty of green space between Tempelhof and some of the surrounding parks, but this one stands out as the most refined.

Georg Elser was a Communist Party member, who worked painstakingly to make a bomb that could kill Hitler. In the event, Hitler (who was habitually late) arrived early to deliver a speech, so Elser's bomb in the podium from where he spoke, blew up harmlessly about 30 minutes after Hitler had already left. Elser was hunted down and caught by...

"Amazing must-have German dumplings"
reviewed 4 days ago by Poonaaam
This is definitely one of the best places to go if you want authentic German dumplings. It was full of locals and actually quite far from the city centre - but well worth the Uber!
The restaurant is pretty much in the middle of nowhere, and we walked into the wrong restaurant on the corner, but it is just down...

A short order menu of the best sort. They only prepare a small number of portions but to a very high culinary standard. The waiter and partner in the restaurant was very forthcoming and catered to our needs - including an excellent wine reccomendation.
Close to the U-Bahn and shops. Friendly and helpful staff with good amenities. Clean and comfortable rooms. Taxis available outside and close to supermarkets and take away shops/restaurants. Close to laundry facilities.
I’ve been in this hotel for CTI conference that is inside the forum of the hotel (don’t need to exit to access). The hotel is very big (hundreds of rooms), rooms are ok and the breakfast is good as well. Recommend.
I stayed with a friend for 3 nights on our first visit to Berlin and loved it. The staff were all lovely and the room was very clean! We arrived on an early flight. At first the staff offered to store our bags until later but then managed to check us into a room that had been vacated early so...
I stayed here last week with two friends. Very helpful reception staff.
Clean and quiet. Located near an underground station with a direct line to Schonfeld airport. There are supermarkets and a very good Italian restaurant (Monte Christo) nearby.
Quite ok, clean, reasonable price (50€, July 18), very friendly... breakfast ok with improvement potential ;)
Safe location, Hotel doesn’t have own parking place but you can park your car on street (free) around the Hotel.
