Wow, if you are a groundhopper and you have never been here this a must. Reminded me so much of football in the early 90s back in England. The place bounces. We got off at Splindersfeld and walked over the river straight to an ace brew house. Kopenick is a pretty little place, great walk to the ground. I really...
"Top museum outside Berlin. Unique collection of furniture."

This old palace just near the beautiful Müggelsee should absolutely be visited by art interested persons. Their unique collection of furniture and items from the Renaissance up to the Barock period are astonishing. Including the marvellous silver ensemble from Berliner Schloss.
Incredible place to relax, so close to the big city but so different. We stopped our bike tour in a green valley and surrounded by ducks and other acquatic birds.
Highly suggested for who needs a break from the frenetic routine.
PS: we stopped at "Surferwiese", this is a free area where mostly people are fully naked.
As a history teacher, one of my favourite stories to tell my students is the Captain Kopenicke incident in the run-up to WW1. An old down and out found an old army uniform in a second hand shop, bought it and put it on....and somehow not only convinced a platoon of soldiers from the local barracks, but the whole town...

Location is perfect and the staff is very friendly.
The food is very good and the prices are quite decent given the portion...
I score 4 out 5 only because the place is a bit noisy but I’ll go there again for sure.
If visiting Müggelsee or Schloss Köpenick (Both highly recommended) you are very near a fascinating cafe. The meny in this place is probably the most exciting I have seen for a long time, you need time to read. And they serve excellent coffee of your choice (and tea), the cakes are of high quality
, and much more.
The bar area together with reception and breackfast area is spectacular! wery pleasent stay. the rooms were nice and clean, staff very friendly. we didnt find the sauna even after receptrionist expleined us the way.. the room were bit cold even when the heather was on max.. overall recomended!
Stayed for three nights earlier this month, due to business in the area.
Hotel is in a very pretty location on the river, and the Kopenick town is a short walk away, and has a good choice of places to visit, bars & restaurants.
Hotel is a basic, budget-style hotel - rooms don't have aircon, but are clean and comfortable,...
Stayed there for 2 nights with 147 x 15 year old kids :) great place, good service and good food! Hotel is old fasioned but well keept, and clean.
A bit remote place no services around. Great bar at site and good resturant.
I stayed here for 2 nights, once in room 26 and once in room 14. Room 26 was a bit better, the room 14 did not have internet connection and the fridge was not working, when I opened it, a terrible smell came... Bathroom was the same in both rooms. In both of them, I had problems to regulate the...
Rooms are worn out. Needs renovation. Cleanlessness is average. People friendly and very helpful. The best and very richtig breakfast in a Hotel of that class. SFX easy reachable by tram and train. Hotel consists of two buildings. Parking lot in the middle of the two Blocks. Köpenick is a lovely place with Restaurants at the rivers and a castle.
