This area is characterized by its namesake avenue which extends northwest from the Louvre to the modern business district, punctuated by the iconic Arc de Triomphe. Grand embassies stand among impressive offices and presidential palaces; architecture from 19th century Universal Exhibitions, homes, art galleries, and 19th century streets designed by Baron Haussmann flank haute-couture boutiques. This neighborhood never rests, buzzing with visitors from around the world at all times of day and night, all within a stone's throw of the Seine.
"Best place to get a view of Paris and Eiffel Tower in the background!"
reviewed yesterday by monicanea
Its a good amount of stairs to the top but totally recommend here to see all of Paris and a chance to get a pic of the Eiffel Tower and the City as your background. Tickets were around $14 USD, and well worth it! No need for skip the line! Walk right in!
Paris is so full of fantastic treasures in terms of museums and monuments that the Petit Palais may be missed, especially since it is across the street from the imposing Grand Palais. Advised by French friends to go visit ad enjoy the architecture, the existing art, and the beautiful garden (plus it is free) I decided to try it out...
There is nothing as much charming as “shopping” or just seeing the marvellous shops in Avenue Montaigne! The Avenue is pure grandeur in perfect Parisian style and the shops are in the same style. Is just wonderful to “walk to walk” and after that you will feel like a real Parisian!
Got to go there for their lunch! Every course was mind blowing and extremely tasteful! Service was impeccable with attention to the finest detail! I cannot say enough of the food! It was even better that expected! A definite when in Paris!
Came here on my first day in Paris. I wanted to try a few different cuisines whilst on my trip for my wife's birthday and kept looking for halal places to eat. This place kept popping up so thought I'd give it a try.
For starters we got the paneer and the 3 different chicken tikka. For mains we got...
Vladimir and his colleague were the perfection in person. As soon as he started to serve our table was smiling and giving an award winning service. The food was perfectly cooked and presented on each plate. Very original and flavored. Very happy of the experience. Highly recommended!
Suffice it to say that we ordered a la carte and liked it so much that we came back two days later and had the extensive tasting menu. If you have a limited number of three star places in Paris that you can visit, this should be one of them.
The berri is a very special hotel to stay and to eat and to ear piano in the bar the cocktails are fabulous you really feel in a real parisian ambiance

A relatively small boutique hotel, centrally located, with great facilities- and the most wonderful staff! The best customer service we’ve experienced for years. The staff were so friendly, extremely attentive and constantly went out of their way to ensure we had a great stay in their hotel. Highly recommended. Thank you L’hôtel Fauchon !
La Reserve, es calmo, lejos del el ruido, sin embargo en el corazon de Paris. Un rincon encantador en el 8° distrito. Ex Maxim´s.
Atencion calida, sin ser excesiva. Excelente lugar para descansar y disfrutar.
La Reserve, is calm, far from the noise, however in the heart of Paris. A lovely corner in the 8th district. Ex Maxim's.
The bars and restaurants are so wonderful. The bar on the first floor makes the more inventive cocktails, you must try them. The views from the dinning room are fabulous and so is the food. The service is nice as well.
Fabulous hotel which makes you feel at home. Very friendly staff and great service. It’s very close to the Champs Elysees. Also it was our son’s 18th Birthday and a member of staff had specially bake him a cake! I thoroughly recommend this hotel!!
