"Fantastic location and monument"

I cannot tell a more appropriate place for the Unknown soldier tomb than this one beneath the Triumphal Arch.
It is adorned with an eternal flame and ever present flowers.
To reach it please use the underground passageway, do not try to run across the Etoile.
Great views of Champs Elysees.

It was nice to find a Catholic church that had a Sunday Mass in English in Paris. We
found St. Joseph Catholic Church, conveniently located on Avenue Hoche, and near Arc du Triomphe and Champs-Elysees
It was a nice solemn Mass, with a nurturing active community that was welcoming to tourist visitors like us.
"Probably the best meal I've had in Paris - Excellent!"
reviewed February 21, 2020 by DJM_review
I've been working in Paris for a few years now, and so have been to a few restaurants. This is probably the best meal I have had in that time (along with a truly excellent wine). Every course was an original & unique taste sensation. It's not for those who prefer simple items, because these were complex in both the...
We were booked in for lunch and were one of three tables in the restaurant. The food was unconventional, French, with a Japanese twist, courtesy of the chef. The service was friendly and the food was unlike anything I’ve had before. The dining room was intimate and cosy, it feels like you are eating in their kitchen! Really enjoyed the...
I am not sure what to say about 1 Michelin star for this restaurant. Staff is good. The decor is surprisingly nice. The wine selection is good (but not exceptional). Ant then the 4-course menu. All was good and to some degree, surprising taking into account Japanese chef. One would expect a fusion of Japanese and French tradition. But there...
Fantastic stay at hotel Balmoral. Lovely clean and modern room. Attentive and helpful staff and great breakfast. Great little added touches to make stay more comfortable. Perfect hotel for a stay in Paris. Great location.
The Hidden Hotel was an ideal choice as it is located at the heart of the center (3 minute walk from Arc de Triumph and the Metro station) and it has amazing rooms (with the best coco-mat beds) and amazing service. The breakfast was great with many healthy options and for a late night drink the choices are plentiful.
I really enjoyed my stay at The Peninsula - it's very impressive from first impressions all the way to the room, lounges, bars - everything was flawless.
It's a modern take on parisian style/glamour that is quite effortless and classic.
Our rooms were well appointed, large and had a balcony! (A MUST in paris!)
My husband and I stayed at Hotel Tsuba for 7 nights. We were always greeted with a smile. The staff went above and beyond to fulfill our needs. One gentleman in particular was such a helpful person. He worked during the night shift unfortunately can’t recall his name. The breakfast buffet was amazing, we had it brought up to the...
The hotel location is good, just not far from the Arc de Triomphe and the Fragrant Street. Very nice hotel, clean and comfortable. The service is generally good, although room service could be a bit slow. Good food, although the variety is small but the quality is good, the bread and cake are from Pierre Hermé. The rooms are massive....
