This was more impressive than I thought it would be.
55m tall its a lot taller when you are standing under. It was just very unexpected how much I actually enjoyed going right up to it.
The great thing is that there is a tunnel under the road so that you can go under the arc. Definitely an impressive structure.
"Great Place to Visit while in Paris Champs Elysees"
reviewed February 12, 2020 by 961rickyc
This Renault Museum is a great place to visit while on the Champs Elysees in Paris. The entry is free and various Renault cars are displayed. The display changes regularly. It be great if more classic Renaults are displayed. Visited February 2020. Nice cafe upstairs and lots of Renault souvenir choices (see pictures)
We got married at Les Salons Hoche in October 2019.
The venue was absolutely beautiful. We had the Haussman apartments for the bridal parties to get ready hours before the ceremony which were large and well decorated. First look in a beautiful courtyard. They provided us with a 1950's Rolls Royce and a driver to take us around Paris for...
At the heart of the champs elysée, 5 minutes from the gucci store, this amazing little restaurant surprised me with one of the best meals i’ve had in france. Price is really afordable for the quality. U have the option between menu of the season and a menu degustacion, wich has 5 exclusive dishes that are not on the seasonal...
This is unique and cosy little restaurant with outstanding food and great atmospere.
We chosen basic menu, but food just kept coming, some were not on the list. Everything very tasty and balanced well. Chef comes and says hello ( does not speak much english lol but tries)
It is an absolute must if you are in that area
"Great food, service, atmosphere but not particularly creative dishes"
reviewed February 21, 2020 by Sophie F
Overall, an amazing experience. The food was top quality, the service was excellent and the atmosphere was sophisticated. The dishes were all very classic, which is fantastic, but it means that there is no creativity in the food. A great one-off experience but I would be hesitant to return knowing that the menu is unlikely to change.
It's all still there: the elegance with a modern edge, the ambitious haute cuisine, the remarkable wine list. And there are improvements since last I went some years ago, a very friendly manager, and sommelier. But the guests were loud (not Taillevent's fault, but...), and surprisingly few in number, and some of the dishes came with outdated frothed "cappuccino" sauce....
"Beautiful views & wonderful times at the Hotel du Rond-Point"
reviewed 1 week ago by chelseavann
This month I had the pleasure of a 2 night stay at the Hotel du Rond-Point to celebrate my 30th birthday. My boyfriend and I arrived at the hotel and immediately were met by the staff who were all so welcoming, kind & helpful. They were gracious enough to upgrade our room as a birthday surprise, and when we walked...
Such an amazingly beautiful hotel this is. Its hidden in a quiet lane very near to the Champs De Elysees yet away from the hustle bustle. The staff was nice enough to give us a room with a view of the Eiffel since it was my wife's first time in Paris. They were very courteous and helpful at all times....
There are so many hotels to choose from. But after some research, location, price etc we decided to stay hee or 3 nights. Location was great for us and having a metro stop nearby is always important for us.
We had caught a early morning flight so when we arrived at the hotel our room wasn't quite ready. Not an...
We arrived a little earlier than check in but they offered us a coffee and then we were allowed into our room! Room was lovely and room 203 had a double balcony which was lovely! Macaroons and a welcome note with loccitane toiletries! With the comfiest bed!
This hotel couldn’t do enough for us and made our trip perfect!! Particularly...
