The western front of the edgy East End, Shoreditch is a perennially trendy haven for anything “street” – be it art, food, or fashion. With its handful of well connected transportation links dotting its perimeter, along with an ever increasing variety of shops, hotels, bars, and restaurants, it's easy to explore this trend-conscious and youth-oriented neighborhood. There's a lingering post-industrial grit about Shoreditch, but because it shares a border with “The City” financial district, the influence from its upscale neighbor can result in fascinating outcomes.
I have been shopping at SH for nearly 30 years at various sites around the area and have always had the best service. The knowledge of staff and non-judgement is a place women can shop, be themselves and get what they need. It is a safe environment
and has helped many woman enjoy themselves for many years. I cannot recommend...
Well worth looking at what they've got on - they are happy for non-buyers to go in and look. They even let us into their current display before it officially opened because we could only go on the day before. Prices don't look extortionate if you do want to buy.
We have been here many times before but not since COVID. They have put in good measures with distanced tables and ensuring customers wear masks when moving around. The service is still attentive and even though the menu has reduced, we still enjoyed the drinks on offer. This is such a chilled out place to go for some great drinks....
My friend brought me here for a surprise afternoon tea for my birthday 2 years ago, it was simply stunning, the views and the food and hospitality. One of the best tasting afternoon teas we have had as lots of savoury as well as sweet. Would definitely recommend and return!
I visited on this week with friends and was thoroughly impressed. We had starters, main, pud and cocktails all of which were delicious. The Mac and cheese bites, pork ribs, fried chicken and salted peppers were so tasty.
The staff were all very friendly and happy to help.
We always stay here when we come to London because it ticks all of our boxes:
- Good size rooms
- Pool facilities
- Close to tube
- Reasonably priced
- Cool area
Service is fine! We have never had breakfast so not sure what it’s like. But a great all rounder for the price.
Beds are SUPER comfy!
We had the best time staying, it was our first time at the hoxton and they ticked every box. We were celebrating and they added special details to the room to make it more memorable. Rooms are comfortable and the staff make you feel at home. Special thanks to Faith and Vivien who helped with everything we will definitely be...
From start to finish - excellent service from all staff. I stayed in the double room and it was well worth the money. Excellent location. Couldn't ask for more - great for a fun weekend away with friends.
Citizen M is a great hotel in an amazing location. The decor is lovely, the rooms are really well kitted out and the beds are massive! It’s worth asking for a room on the higher floors because they have a great view and they’re really quiet. Located in the heart of Shoreditch, it’s a stroll from all the bars, restaurants...
Although a little difficult to find, I had a pleasant stay at this hotel. Loved the windows, Brunch on the rooftop terrace and the very friendly staff. I stayed in a spacious corner room #501. I recommend this hotel if you're looking to stay in this neighborhood.
