Today I had a delicious buckwheat crepe with egg and turkey; however, I was charged $2.85 for a one ounce container of maple syrup because it was considered an extra to the meal. The waitress initially told me the cost was $1.99, then apologized when the bill listed $2.85 but did not offer to reimburse me. I feel the $2.85...
Chabad NDG is an incredible place. If you are in Montreal you must try their Friday night or Saturday prayers. Maybe you’d like a Shabbat dinner or a social event. Relationships classes, Kabbalah classes, holiday celebrations. The people are amazing and community is warm and friendly. I would check the website to see what’s happening this week.
We recently had the opportunity to attend a concert (A Shakespearian Night's Dream) of the Orchestre Metropolitain de Montreal in the Church of Saint-Sixte in the Saint-Laurent Borough of Montreal.
That evening the orchestra was superbly directed by Alexander Shelley who is since 2015 Music Director of Canada's National Arts Centre orchestra and featured a performance by Montreal-born famous clarinet...
Love this outdoor 50 m swim pool. Clean, friendly staff and safe.
It is open only during the Summer but well worth the visit.
I did my length swim from the opening time at 11:30 am and did not find the place crowded.
They also have a great are for children.
I have been going to the Chalet BBQ since I was 5 years old...65 years ago! My father would often take me after Sunday Mass. It has become a fond, childhood memory of times spent with my Dad.
While raising our kids, when they came home from summer camp or being away, the first thing they asked for was Chalet...
Went with a friend for dinner to the restaurant. The ambiance of the restaurant is amazing with great artifacts. Truly a cozy place.
The service was very attentive, friendly and professional. The food order was perfect and authentic. Having lived for over 4years in Bangkok and coming from the industry I can say that.
I will surely be back.
Montreal has so many ice cream shops so it’s hard to stand out but that’s exactly what Ca Lem does. They have a variety of unique flavours and both hard and soft serve. You can even get take away tubs of some flavours. The staff are really friendly and there’s a decent amount of seating available. The only downside is...

I at first didn’t get any sleep but asked for help and explained who I am and why I am here, they completely helped me and moved me to a much better room! Very amazing staff as I arrived in a limo service because this hotel is close to the studio I need to be at. They understand and are...
Definitely enjoyed our stay at Auberge St. Jacques! I didn't have high expectations but I was extremely surprised with the room. It was clean and organized. The bathroom looks like it was newly renovated and it was quite spacious which was nice.
Taking the bus from the place was definitely easy. The bus stop was accessible - less than a...
This place is very dirty. Please think twice before go and book there. I will not recommend this area and this rooms to anyone. I even got a bite on my hand now I have to go to the doctor. Tripadvisor should be more selective with the places that they recommend. I’m very very disappointed.
So the room cost me 90 per night plus all the various taxes for this sleazy place.
Summer in Montreal and the air conditioning unit was not functioning properly. I was livid.
Seriously the ac is a basic amenity.
Poor upkeep. Room basic which i expected. But no ac????
What a joke.
Steer clear. At this price there is much...
