"Good representation of Group of Seven Canadian artists"
reviewed 2 weeks ago by W6968ZFdavidr
Impressive gallery with good old European masters and Canadian famous painters.
A lot of space wasted on modern art nonsense that anyone could emulate.
The atrium space is very impressive stretching the whole width of the front of the AGO.
"Full of history and nicely preserved historic place in the heart of Toronto"
reviewed August 3, 2019 by Margo7850p
One of the oldest building in Toronto. Small but historical house set on one of the busiest corners of Toronto. Excellent example of houses before the large Metropolis of Toronto existed. Beautifully restored and maintained. Inside is a preserved era from the 1800s with furnishings, carpets and lighting all from the original house.Fantastic place, amazing guide with a lot of...
If you're moving between Downtown and Chinatown/Kensington Market, try to route your walk through this smart little park. The park itself is well maintained and a nice green spot in the heart of the city with plenty of people relaxing in the grass and kids enjoying the play facilities. It is however, greatly enhanced by the neighbouring Ontario College of...
On our tour of Toronto we were shown the daring futuristic building of the Sharp Centre for Design. It is located 3 blocks to the west of University Ave and easily accessed from the downtown Toronto (about 10 minutes' walk from our hotel, Shangri La Toronto).
Today, the building inaugurated in 2004, is a widely recognizable city landmark. The structure...

"Delicious tacos "
reviewed December 9, 2019 by sarahO6382XT
Stopped by on a Friday afternoon and there was a small but fast moving line. I went with the pollo asado and baja fish tacos, and the two were both very filling. The flavours were unreal and the tacos were generously filled. Some of the best tacos I’ve ever eaten. The eating area inside is tiny but it’s no problem...
I've eaten here several times. I always try to go here when I go to Toronto. The ramen and broth are both good and the other items are made just right, especially the eggs.
Do try the black sesame ice cream for dessert too. So yummy.
This place can fill up very quickly, so I would recommend getting there right...
Wow simply amazing - always wanted to go and thought how good could it be - I should have listened and went a long time ago. Simply the best burger in the city. Amazing bun, delicious meat and a crazy assortment of unusual toppings. Well worth it. Very Highly Recommended!!!
Was in Toronto for 4 days, on the 3rd day we were wandering around and stumbled upon cafe crepe. We were seated quickly, served quickly and it was gorgeous. Wished we'd time to go back again before we left but next time we're in town we'll be back in for more delicious crepes
Very anonymous from the outside, very cozy and personal on the inside. You feel like you are a guest at home of a crazy scientist, serving you his latest inventions. We had some amazing cocktails here, and met some great people too. What a shame that the music was so load, half volume would have been enough!
Apart from the fire alarm issue that others have written about, you could not really fault this hotel, and let's face it, at least we know that the fire alarm works. It's in an excellent location, we walked all over the city from here, it's clean and the staff were helpful.
One minor gripe, the use of plastic at breakfast...
My last trip to Toronto was very last-minute so I ended up with limited options when it came to hotels. I found this Studio 6 near my destination in the city so I gave it a try, fully prepared to be disappointed. The hotel itself is tucked inside Chinatown, walkable to many restaurants, stores and main transit routes - that...
