Developed alongside the Vancouver Olympic Village for the 2010 Winter Games, a past fraught with hardship has recently been overcome, and builders are changing the landscape on the ground of Southeast False Creek at a rapid pace. With waterfront dining, ultra-modern facilities, sports stadiums, and a load of greenery, parks, and rest spots built into the ever-changing infrastructure, it's a fast-paced and mutable spot to see Vancouver taking shape and making history. It is especially popular for the casual sportsman, as the Seawall on the water makes for one of the most scenic locations for cycling or roller-blading, jogging or strolling.
From our hotel, we walked over to the Olympic Village and wandered over the bridge to the other side. Vancouver is a very walk-able city. It was a beautiful, sunny day in Vancouver. Probably the most walk-able city I've ever visited. So pretty, so clean and the people so nice.
Went to a christmas show here during week day and liked the facility for the play we saw. Adequate sized venue with all seats giving good view of stage. Harder parking around here so take Evo or bus if you can.

We did a tandem. I think that's the way to go. We went all around the bay. Great way to view the architecture-which is absolutely amazing. There is a section of houseboats that we went by that were fun to get an up close and personal view. The gal that checked us in was very nice. First class operation.
Taking pictures of huge sparrows on the nearest boulevard, we accidentally saw this store and decided to stop by. The hall was empty from visitors, but the variety of alcoholic beverages made an impression ... we had to buy something.
Have you ever dined in a brewery? For the beer connoisseur, this place is heavenly. They literally have over a hundred varieties of beer from around the world.
Our family and friends were there for a birthday celebration. The food was typical of pub fare though the quality was much better than I expected. The menu is limited but varied....

My friends from work and I had so much fun celebrating our friend’s retirement! This restaurant is in one of the Best locations in Vancouver; Olympic Village. I called in here with my Wife and Daughter for some lunch while we were on our walk around False Creek, despite the fact that it was mid week in late October the cafe was very busy however, they fortunately had outdoor seating which as a bonus also provides views across false creek. I ordered a scrambled egg and cheese...

We managed to get here in time for happy hour. Not busy on a weeknight. I tried their meatballs which were very good, and the mussels were ok. My dinner companion had their salmon salad which was very good. Nice, casual atmosphere. We had a nice booth table along the widow.
