Known for its constant cultural and gastronomic developments, Roma, is a beautiful neighborhood that was once the place for poets such as Kerouac and Ginsberg to call home. Galleries, museums and even private residences are on beautiful display when walking through Colima street to do some necessary shopping or when going to the classic Cine Tonalá to enjoy a delicious dinner and a great film. Top notch cafés, gourmet restaurants and food markets all around will surely catch your senses by surprise.
Met some friends that we met earlier on another tour here on a Thursday night. What a fun place. There’s so many options for food you can’t go wrong. I think I sampled the food from four different restaurants inside. We sat up close to the live entertainment, ate good food, drink good beer. Overall really enjoyed and felt safe.
Arto Otra is a beautiful gallery full of art and collectibles from a wide variety of mediums. I stopped in here recently and had a very nice experience. The owner was super friendly and knowledgable about art. Highly recommend visiting!

Casa Lamm is an interesting multi-faceted venue. The library offers titles on art and literature. Check out a book and read it in the garden or cafe.
The cafe on-site is tranquil and inviting.
Also offers various educational courses. Overall has a bohemian, relaxed vibe.
Its the leading art gallery in Mexico for one reason. It has showcased the top artists as well as putting many on the international art scene. Set in an industrial space it has an amazing ambience and curated brilliantly. Expect big pieces. Very shmick.
Phantastic! By a large margin the best food on our 2.5 week Mexico trip. The green sauce served with the Chamorro was simply unbelievable. An amazing blend of spicy, lemony, fruity. Can't find the words to describe it. Just go!!
I just could not stress enough of how amazing and good the food is, the tacos are next level! So rich in flavours, any meal you taste its just going to amaze you, no doubt! I went 6 days in a row during my holidays. Breakfast, lunch, dinner! Just incredible! Also, 10 super stars to the beautiful night's team!
Should you need abreak from Mexican cuisine, Italian is always a good option. And in LaRoma, this place stands out as a great choice for a casual family dinner.
The place is welcoming and comfortable, with lots of rooms to accommodate large groups.
Food is excellent, with good fresh pasta and pizzas. Also interesting cocktails.
Nice, friendly service.
Beautiful rooms and very well appointed. Breakfasts were great and roof deck was an unknown bonus! Lovely neighborhood to walk around with great restaurants nearby.
Wonderful personal service. Attention paid to each in our group was just amazing. Staff well trained, easy to talk to and very considerate.
If you like small hotels and a romantic homey feel this is...
Now sheltering in NYC, we can hardly believe one month ago we were at La Valise. Our first trip to Mexico City was one of our best trips, and that had to do with the ambiance and staff. We began our trip as guests and left as friends.
La Valise in Mexico City has an excellent reputation; our stay there...
This is a very location in Mexico City, the hotel is a small hotel, only 6 floors, but the rooms are comfortable not by mention the great beds it has, you can walk around this facility and you will find many restaurants, pubs and taquerias.
Parking is small, so you need to take your cautions.
I recently spent 4 nights at the Hotel MX Roma for a fun girls weekend and overall, it was great. We shared a single room on the first floor and although small, it worked for us. I loved the location of this hotel and the friendly staff. The building itself is very cool and modern with a great roof deck...
This hotel is in a great location with many restaurants and bars within walking distance. Most of the main tourist sites are also within walking distance.
The rooms are basic but clean. There is complimentary water, coffee and tea on every floor which is great.
