"contemporary art museum on Gorgeous Campus not to be missed"
reviewed January 26, 2020 by ScoopTraveler
You should come here if you like contemporary art. The building is super contemporary too. Changing exhibitions create a lot of variety and unpredictability. The campus is great, especially O'Gorman's library building covered in mosaics.
This visit was almost an afterthought but so glad we found time to stop here. The building itself is a showstopper! Wow! The collection inside was amazng- as Riviera intended, it certainly is a gift to the Mexian people.
The museum is in Frida Kahlo's former residence and there are lots of great exhibits. We went late in the day; the line to get in was not too long and moved quickly. There's an extra fee if you want to take photos.
If you have read about Frida Kahlo's life you probably know about Leon Trotsky. This little socialist red house is near the blue house and there are no Ines and costs just 70 peso to get in.
I had already read the long storied history of this Soviet revolutionist, so I just did a walk thru seeing the machine gun...
I’m this is the place where I bring my family and friends when I want to have an perfect diner, good meat, excellent service, the martines and wine list are extremely good.

We were welcomed by the owner who helpfully guided us through the menu. At his suggestion, my wife and I shared the Timpana and the turkey sandwich. All was excellent ... like the best of home-cooking.
"Economic, Clean rooms, Nice service, large rooms"

I had traveled on a business trip to Mexico City during November 2019. I stayed for 15 days. I absolutely liked the place. Good points - Clean rooms, large rooms, Good service by the staff, courteous and prompt staff, had a corporate deal with the hotel which included 3 pieces of laundry every day which was an excellent deal and...
Rough, old towels.
Fairly new, clean, good service at the front desk. Young staff. No restaurant but free continental breakfast is good with no strings attached. WiFi was sometimes difficult to connect to.
Is a very basic hotel, simple. The room was big, the bed too old.
Prepare to hear what's happening in the next room.
The bathtub was stuck.
You better eat outside the hotel, since the food is not good at all.
I stayed here for one night. It was very comfortable and clean. The bed was big. The staff did not speak English at all, but if you know some Spanish, it will be fine. It is close to the blue line Tasquena metro station.
