Greetings from the beautiful Warwick Fiji, Shageer M, We were delighted to be able to welcome you to the award winning Warwick Fiji for your vacation this year. Thank you for mentioning our Community Fund. A voluntary charge of FJD$15 is added to your account on departure. You can opt to have this removed or, as a number of guests do, add additional contributions. The money raised, along with the Resorts own contributions, go towards great community projects like school and community hall repairs; painting of local churches, repairs and upkeep of the local Health Clinic plus the building of a new A&E and purchase of an ambulance that will benefit 6000 people in our community. The list is extensive and the good work will continue, with the charitable contributions by our guest. Friday is 'Fiji' day at the Warwick. The day starts with a flag raising ceremony and singing of the national anthem followed by a day full of programs that take in the tradition and culture of this great country and its people. The night is capped off with a kava ceremony, and a Lovo buffet in our Bula Brasserie. The Lovo is the traditional way of cooking the meal, in a pit in the ground, covered with banana leaves and hot rocks. Shageer M, thank you for contributing to our TripAdvisor page with a great review and we hope to have you back with us agaoin soon. Island regards, Brad Downton General Manager
