Whilst we appreciate your positive comments about our team members and the breakfast, we also would like to apologize for not meeting your expectations. As a hotel we try to be as transparent as possible with providing the right information to our travel agents and to offer resort maps and location descriptions. From the majority of our guests staying in the Thai Village we receive positive feedback about the room location and therefore, you might not have seen any comments from other travelers. The Thai Village consists of dozens of buildings with different views. To enjoy the beautiful sea view from your room we offer Grand Deluxe Ocean View and Junior Suite Ocean View rooms. Due to the high demand during your stay we were not able to offer you an upgrade to one of those rooms and also were unable to give you the room keys before the guaranteed check in time (14:00). Dear Susie050211, we do understand the different needs of our guests and even though the lively Chaweng area was not your preferred choice, we hope that you enjoyed the rest of your holiday in a more quiet part of the island.
