Recommend Vadstena, and recommend this hotel as the best place to stay, even though it could be better!
Good: Hotel expensive for British, but Vadstena was a great place to stay two days. The hotel fronted the beautiful lake, with the cheaper ( still not cheap!) rooms in the annex in a large house 7 mins walk away but next to the castle ( and lake), providing breakfast so no need…
