One of the reasons I have lowered my rating is due to the beach being spoilt by seaweed. The sand is fine and soft, the water is clear blue but unfortunately the seaweed which is collected to sell spoils this perfection along with the constant hassle on the seafront of beach…

We are pleased to read that you had a wonderful stay at Ocean Paradise Resort & Spa. Thank you for your constructive feedback of the seaweed. This is a season of the Ocean which brings the sea grass from the ocean due to the tides and seasonal change slowly approaching the rainy season. The seaweed is seasonal and not full year around here among the East Coast region of the Island. Other times one will find the seaweed either in the South or Northern Regions while there is none on the East Coast regions. However our team do their best efforts to clean the beach in front of our property during these times early in the mornings and afternoons which one will note compared to the neighbouring areas. All beaches in Tanzania are public beaches for anyone to access. However we are pleased to offer our guests a private beach section within the hotel premises which is only available to our hotel guests. Thank you for bringing the matter of the slow bar service under our attention. Our apology for the inconvenience that you might have experienced which might occur from time to time due to a busy service at the time. However our Food and Beverage Manager have been informed of the matter and will refresh the Bar team again on more attentive service. We trust this will alleviate the concern for our future guests.
