Sad to hear that you didn´t have chance to book in advance. There is no problem to be in touch and we will inform you about the distance and help you to plan your arrival time at Friðheimar. Just call us +354 486 8894 or email: fridheimar@fridheimar.is If something will happen on the way to our restaurant then it is easy to be in touch and let us know that you will be late and we will do our best to find a space for you later in the day :) For people that can´t have a table because everything is fully booked, we offer to go to the bar and have a soup in a cup and breadstick or some desert. That is easy to walk around with in the greenhouse and we think this is a nice way to meet our customers that can´t have a table instead of not letting them in. With the pasta to go is no problem as the bartender mentioned but that is for to go because it is not easy to walk around with that. If you are interested in our delicious pasta then we recommend that you have a look in our greenhouse and when you are on the way out you should order the pasta so you will have it as fresh as possible in your car. Sad to hear that you didn´t like our soup and the bread. Every morning the kitchen starts with preparing fresh soup and baking new bread. The thing with the horses is that they are living creatures and not everyone like each other. Sometimes we have arguments between them or it´s simply a play. At the end of every day they are taken to the field were they stay until the day after. About the bathrooms we have figured out that over busy days it´s not enough to swipe over them just three times per day. We have to have it every hour, so thanks for this comment Hope you had great days in Iceland and hopefully you will have chance to visit us again for the Ravioli :)
