This restaurant is definitely rated no. 1 on tripadvisor for a reason. Most beautiful hidden gem we found on bali while exploring the southern east cost. The food is delicious, the property with private villas gorgeous and the infinitiy pools absolutely stunning!

Dear Philippe, Thanks for your nice review. Yes, we are already some time nr 1 on tripadvisor. This is the result of 1. location. This is an important issue in Amed, which is the name for a long road connecting 7 fishermen's villages along the coast. One of the villages has also the name Amed, which is confusing. People think that Amed is a village like in Europe but its just a part of the same road with hotels, guesthouses, restaurants, cafe's at both side. This road can be noisy (motorbikes) People are disappointed when it appears that the hotel /restaurant that they booked is direct at the roadside...the website did not show that. Villa/restaurant Bukit Segara is 100 m away from the road, protected by walls and gardens. 2. service. We keep the service on the same level by not extending the number of tables and seats. The same staff, the same smiles, no waiting time. 3. food. We don't have a (Western) Chef. We have 5 experienced local Balinese which are trained by several Chefs. The quality is consistent, not depending of one 'Masterchef'. But all this won't do if there wouldn't be friendly guests who take the time to make a review. Every one is using reviews, not many people make them. So thank you again!
