Thank you for your recent review. I apologize about the glasses found in your room, this certainly is not typical of the cleanliness and I am disappointed to hear that we fell short of our standards. We do lock our doors at a certain time of the night, your guest key would allow you access, but of course after check-in. Another option you could do prior to check-in is use the mobile check-in and mobile key option. Then your phone can be used as a key to open the front door or your individual guestroom door. The reason for locking our doors at night, is for safety from the outside since we are in the middle of downtown Boston. I apologize for any inconvenience your experienced due to this process.
