This review is for unit E2, it's deceiving because some units can be totally different within Sealodge. Let me start by saying that it is true, that our unit got an amazing view to the ocean, BUT it was not worth to stay there. 1, There is no air conditioning in the unit, it

I am sorry about your stay here at Sealodge. As one could imagine, it is very difficult to have the perfect place for everyone while at the same time keeping within ones budget / and total vacation spend. I also have a little one myself who is nearly one year now. Sealodge would be great with a small child, but not ideal for walking down to the beach. There is a hike which I've personally done several hundred times and I've timed it with slow walkers and fast ones. It's about 7 minutes to maybe 12 at the most. At least in my experience. It can be slippery- it's classic Kauai, sometimes wet and you have to proceed with caution. Many people absolutely love this short hike because it leads to a semiprivate beach. I've had the best snorkeling in Hawaii right at that beach. It really can be amazing. I'm not sure about the wifi- these things definitely have on/ off issues. We try to address those as soon as we are called. I've never needed AC, but I know a couple weeks of the year the trade winds that normally cool it off very well, do not. I have to say that the St. Regis Hotel is a better place for some. It's about 3 times more expensive and does not have a full kitchen or the privacy as does many Sealodge units. Thank you again...and we hope your next visit to the islands meets your needs.
