Aloha Thank you for the feedback regarding your recent stay. Sounds like you really made the most out of your Big Island vacation and used the resort's centralized location to your benefit. We do have a daily charge for AC for those who wish to use it. This is akin to a resort fee but is only charged to those guests who wish to use the amenity.
