Stayed here 3rd to 17th January 2018. The first room we were allocated had no lock on the patio door so asked for a move.The second room allocated room 8421 was terrible.The patio door did not close in the middle correctly so the wind and the rain came through the door 24/7.On

Receive my most sincere apologies for not meeting your expectations in your visit to our hotel. This is not nearly the experience we provide to our visitors. We are a group very committed to provide all guests with the best of our efforts. Some of maintenance faults you have encountered and lately described on your review denote lack of supervision and right doing so, all we have to say is how sorry we are for failing on our commitment and let you know that we will be taking all the steps to make sure all these mistakes are corrected and other customers not be affected. Right from the moment hurricane Irma head away from us, we have felt committed to fully recover in the shortest possible time, so that our customers can return to the Meliá Cayo Coco they know and love. We have performed an amazing job and and the results have started to show but we are aware that there is still some work to be done therefore your suggestions are very much appreciated since we need them to be better. We want to thank you for your praises on our staff, we know they are the hotel's biggest asset and take a lot of pride on the work they carry out. My deepest apologies for failing on providing you with a positive holiday experience. We do look forward in the hope of being able to welcome you back in the near future and delivering to you the holiday vacation that so many of our guests have experienced and continue to enjoy at Meliá Cayo Coco, therefore if you have any special request do not hesitate in letting us know, we will be very happy to assist you.
