BlueBoyTx, thank you so much for this review. We appreciate the details a lot, it helps incoming guests know what our location is like! I would like to pick out one thing from this review, and that is the smoking. We are a strict non-smoking hotel, and each guest has a mandatory paper they sign at check-in for a $100 charge with no warning if they are caught smoking. If it's bad, we kick them out. Because of Portland's marijuana legislation, we do allow it on property -- but any smoking would result in that $100 fine immediately, and we do this almost daily. I'm sorry that you had to smell so much in the rooms nearby. Hopefully that didn't distract too much from your stay!
