Hello LJMQZ, Thank you for taking the time to write a review on your recent family get-away. I am glad the suite gave you enough space for you and the family. It is always nice to read such great reviews on the hotel and staff. The bicycle paths that are around the Marina del Rey neighborhoods are similar to any other running or bicycle paths in America. Our neighborhood here is especially quiet but it is always good to monitor your surroundings and use your best judgement. We haven't heard of any situations happening on the bicycle paths. The marina police are very present in the area and help keep our neighborhood safe. Los Angeles always has traffic! It is one of the single drawbacks to living in such a wonderful temperate environment. There is some construction happening at the very end of our block on Bali Way. They are building a new grocery store and a few other restaurants on that block. I am sorry if it gave you the wrong impression of the hotel. This should be complete by beginning of 2019.
