We used 2 Groupon vouchers so we could stay for 7 nights and get 4 activities included. Resort: 4/5 stars Our cabin was very spacious and clean. The hot springs and restaurant are very close together and yet very private because the property is lush with trees and gardens.…

Hola! Thank you for your comprehensive review of your stay. We, the staff and owners, appreciate and talk about all the comments. Your mention of a couple Eco-adventure tours reminds me to mention that we have introduced a new tour and changed another. The water tubing tour is now moved to a new river during the (now) dry season due to low water levels on the Rio Azul. The neighboring river, Rio Cucaracho (a mix of blue and fresh) have customer responding with rave reviews. At the end of the tubing experience is the confluence of the rivers Rio Penjamo (an amazing blue river), Rio Negro (a black river) and the Rio Cucaracho - a truly spectacular sight. We are also pleased to introduce a special new tour for horseback riders, which this reviewer went on. Aptly named, the Sabanero Horseback Riding Adventure, the word used for a Costa Rica cowboy. Horseback ride through a beautiful farm, with gorgeous mountain view through a lagoon (when water levels permit), nature sightings, a walk into the jungle for a swim in the spectacular blue river Penjamo, and end with a tour of cheese making on the farm (and a snack).
