Dear davidkoe, Thank you for sharing your thoughts and concerns regarding your recent stay. We are disappointed that your experience wasn’t the best that we strive to deliver, despite the obstacle of the neighboring hotel, Goya, constructing without regulatory compliances. We are doing our very best to minimize the noise levels and have taken, and will continue to take, very active measures to that effect. And whilst we cannot bring the noise levels to zero, they have been drastically reduced. Still, we are pleased to see some of your positive notes and the fact that you gave us some good specifics to work on. And to address your other comments : 1. We are the only 5 star boutique hotel located less than a 15 minute walk to the Ubud Palace which is 1000m away. We also offer a regular shuttle to the Palace which takes 6 mins by car. 2. Because we are tropical country and Bisma Eight is located close to the Forest, we provide a natural organic insect repellant in your room. Additionally it is available at all points of service, or just by asking any of our staff. We also spray the property twice a week with eco friendly repellants. 3. We aim to be a plastic waste free property and one of our measures is to provide mineral water in glass bottles. The water is refilled from water that we buy in bulk. Additional bottles are available should you need them. In addition, all our outlets provide mineral water. We also sell bottles of water should you prefer to have a sealed bottle, or sparkling water. This is not an unusual practice. 4. As with most hotels, the mini bar isn’t free. However, on some OTA, we offer the inclusion of limited free local beer in the minibar, which will be filled the equivalent number of times as your room nights. It won’t be refilled on the day of your departure. 5. To avoid misunderstanding our pool bar will be closed at 7 pm, however our swimming pool is open 24 hours.
