Around 2,000 exhibits from between the 15th century and the present day are on display at Prague's unique Museum of Chamber pots and Toilets. It focuses mainly on the historical development of personal hygiene items. Among the unique objects are the chamber pots for Napoleon Bonaparte, the Lincoln Bedroom at the White House, the Titanic, the Chinese Emperor Qianlong, countess Mathilda Nostitz, one from pure silver and an earthen medieval piece from the Netherlands. In addition to historical chamber pots, toilets and their seats, you will find toilet paper, flushers, paintings, postcards, curios and other small items for personal hygiene, including Baroque flea traps. On display are female Bourdaloue chamber pots, potties playing a tune, French wedding pots and caganer figurines from Spanish cribs. The collection is the largest in the world! It is located just 450 meters from the Old Town Square.
