Safe to say this is the worst campsite I’ve ever been on, Don’t get me wrong when I was a kid billing aquadrome was the place to be for camping. Arriving on site your greeted by staff who clearly don’t want to be here who then tell you to pitch up tent in an area of the park…

Hello, thank you for contacting us regarding this, we are sorry to hear about your disappointment. Leading up to your arrival, the West Midlands, in particular Northampton had undoubtedly experienced some of the worst weather conditions in the UK which included Snow, hail and rain. This information was broadcasted by the Met Office, on a number of different media platforms and through our contact centre. With the weather warnings in place from the Met Office it is the responsibility of the individual to assess the situation and to make an informed decision whether to continue with your holiday. Any customers who took it upon themselves to give us a call to request some guidance and advice were given information about the current ground conditions and the forecast for more rain in the area, clients were advised that should they wish to travel to the park it would be at their own risk. We can assure you that during this period the park worked closely with the call centre to ensure those clients still intending on travelling were accommodated to the best of our ability. This included wiring new electric hook ups on plots for static bases to accommodate touring caravans and motorhomes. We ensured farm machinery were made available to our grounds team to assist with vehicles that might need assistance, we relocated existing office and maintenance staff to assist on the ground. Furthermore we ensured that all facilities; third party and entertainment activities remained open to make the most of a disappointing situation despite the never ending down pours.
