The Borneo is a unique destination for a holiday and here at Gaya Island Resort, we pride ourselves on being a wild nature-friendly resort with the aim to ensure that guests of all ages feel valued, and at home, during their stay with us. Please accept my sincere apologies on the uncomfortable experience with sandflies during BBQ dinner. Our ground team work tirelessly to ensure we rake our beach daily to avoid this inconvenience, unfortunately coexisting with nature does not give us 100% guarantee.
