Dear Jheeva, Thank you for your review and kind words about our staff here at the Inn. They delight in providing exceptional service to guests throughout their stay. The dress code has been in place since the hotel’s inception and is meant to facilitate the elegant atmosphere in which guests are able to dine under the stars. Kindly note that in the event guests do not want to dine in the restaurant, they have the option of ordering room service. Guests are able to choose from a wide variety of offerings on the menu. We never force guests to adhere to the dress code but simply inform them that if they wish to dine with us on the terrace they will have to dress accordingly. Yes, there are no in room TV’s, clocks or radios, most guests are aware of this beforehand as this is done on purpose. Jamaica Inn caters to guests who come to relax and unwind, unplugging from the modern world. Over the years, guests have commented on the fact that this feature makes a world of a difference as they have the opportunity to unwind and experience luxury in the midst of the tranquil atmosphere Jamaica Inn offers. We’re sorry that the Inn did not quite cater to your specific expectations. We wish you all the best. Guest Services Manager Sherlene Hickling
