I stayed at this hotel for two nights. When I C/I, I forgot to show the spg. card (member card of Sheraton), but I came back to front again to show the card and asked to unlock mini bar. but mini bar was not unlocked. I was so much diappointed that I am not a reliable person.

Dear Mr. Tadahiro H, Thank you so much for sharing your experience and for choosing our hotel during your past visit to the city. Our main objective is to exceed our guests expectations and deliver our signature service. We apologize for any inconvenient regarding the minibar, your comments help us improve the service we deliver to our guests. Regarding your questions about the Faro a Colón historical monument design not being of your pleasantness, a contest was held in 1931 to choose who would be the architect who would design this work; the British architect J. L. Gleave won the contest, being favored among 455 participants from 48 countries. The construction began in 1948. After that year, the political situation of the country prevented the resumption of construction work on the lighthouse. Finally, during the government of Joaquín Balaguer, the construction of the lighthouse was resumed in 1986 under the supervision of the Dominican architect Teófilo Carbonell, and the construction of the monument culminated in 1992, in time for the celebration of the 500 years of the Discovery of America. The lighthouse was inaugurated on October 6, 1992. The remains of Columbus are in a tomb inside and the exhibit of 46 countries as well. We hope this information helps with your concerns regarding this monument. With pleasure,
