We went on a Sunday and even though they close earlier than other days, we took advantage of it very well because we practically didn't have to wait in lines. We went several times on the rides that we liked the most and saw a show with the park's characters; all this without running and without rushing. If you buy tickets online and a few days in advance it is a little cheaper than buying them the same day and the prices are quite affordable for everything the park offers. They also let us in with chips and cookies in our bags.

Amazing theme park! The Roadrunner Express is not to be missed, especially because the lines move fast. Staff are friendly and wait times are on boards. Food is quite expensive, so plan accordingly. Plenty of parking. Come on weekdays and Sundays, Saturdays are way too busy. School weekends are also not that crowded. Enjoy!

Our family had a fabulous time here at Six Flags! I had expected the crowds to be over the top because it was the day before the total solar eclipse would be occurring, with San Antonio being right on the edge of totality, so I figured that everyone who came to town to view the eclipse would include a visit to Six Flags; therefore, I bought the "Ultimate" Flash passes; well, I could've gotten by with the "Standard" passes. Anyway, we enjoyed the whole day, especially with my wife and I feeling like kids again keeping up with our daughters, going from thrill ride to thrill ride!

This was a fun time overall. It was early in the season so they didn’t have all the rides open. The parking was $37 which I think now takes the spot as most expensive parking I have ever paid in my life! There was not really a line to go through security. I waited in the ticket line and when I got to the front they said to save $90 I could buy the tickets on my phone. What a waste of time and also how stupid- just sell me the tickets at the online price! The first impression of the park was that it could have been cleaner and better maintained since they had all winter to work on that. I did all-day dining and I thought it was worth it. The food was mediocre at best but still a better value than not having the package. The staff members who I encountered were friendly and ready to start off the summer season. The entertainment was really bad.

We went the first week of January and as expected many of the water rides were closed. What we did not expect was how many other rides were also closed. We bought the meal plan and drink package but unfortunately when we got to the park they had ran out of cups leaving us with no souvenir cup and worse yet having to use a paper cup with no lid and no straw, very inconvenient. Additionally, they had closed most of the drink refill stations making everyone have to wait in long food lines to get refills including water. All and all it appears that the park is large and has some great rides but it did not appear that there was any urgency to turn the rides over. Several of the rides took 4 to 5 minutes in between each ride for a ride that lasted a minute or less. Also, unlike Disney and Universal, it did not appear that the operators considered adding larger trains to accommodate more riders per ride. The smaller trains coupled with the inefficiency of turnover created longer lines than necessary. This was the same with the food. They had very few people working the concessions creating long lines.

We have been to a lot of theme parks and this one is one of the best. The bad....food was slow and a lot of rides were closed open closed open. However, the good was so good this 6 flags gets 5 stars despite the bad. Every single staff member was A+, friendly, helpful, wonderful. Having such great staff at every single turn (from ride operators to food vendors to gift shop workers) made the whole experience excellent. The food was a notch better than most theme park food. The rides were fun with Iron Rattler and Wonder Woman being two favorites. We got fast passes and all day dining so our visit felt stress free. Since we focused on rides we didn't pay for the haunted houses, but the fright fest theme was well done and thoroughly enjoyed. The park surrounded by the quarry rock wall totally enhanced the experience on many of the rides. We traveled a bit to visit this 6 flags and it did not disappoint.

Overall had a good time but with some better management this place could be so much better. Made a mistake and bought tickets for a day pass at the park due to the website being down. Took 1 hour and 30 minutes to get through the line because there was only two clerks doing tickets. This was so frustrating. They have ten people at the first gate checking bags and then another ten people at the turnstiles but can’t put more people to sell tickets and season passes? Numerous rides shut down for repairs and others blocked off. The rides that did work were awesome and everyone had a great time. Food and d drinks were expensive and the food was not that great.

we are a Arizona family, and when we made a trip out there to Texas it was so beautiful. Our first stop was the SixFlag's water park and that was honestly the best use of my money. The kids loved it so much, the park itself was huge and had a variety of rides to choose from, such a great day for that humid weather . The next day we made a stop at the amusement park , everything was amazing the kids got to play games and win multiple prizes. The rides were overall the best part, the iron rattler was their fav, the only thing that suck was the wonder woman ride was shut down when we got there. We will definitely make another trip here again!!!!

Went to hurricane harbor with my 6 year old and with this season pass we will be there all summer. She loves this place. We usually buy a cabana so that we will have 2 chairs and a umbrella, last summer it was a life saver in the texas heat. She would be there all day everyday if she could. I only pay 20 bucks a month for mine and her season passes. So to me it is well worth it.

The park is fantastic! With attractions for the whole family, including with young children. We had two kids, 03 and 12 years old and everyone had a lot of fun! The 4 rating is for having some attractions under maintenance that seemed to be pretty cool. For Russian mountain lovers, it is definitely worth it!
