    Fun and interactive
We had a great time visiting this museum. There was lots of interactive displays. I think there is some thing for everyone to see here and it doesn’t take a lot of time to go through. We did go when there wasn’t a lot of people so we did have an advantage. I could see this being frustrating if The museum was packed with children

    Perfect for the whole family.
This was the best science museum I have ever been to. Perfect for anyone of any age. Parents can read and learn interesting things in each area as children play with interactive things that are in each area too. It’s seriously an incredible place and we can’t wait to return.

An all day experience, tons to do
I highly recommend this museum, and it's worth going out of your way if your family loves science. It's HUGE, several floors. It's a true science museum, with exhibits for adults, but tons of interactive, hands-on areas. You can easily keep children of all ages entertained. I'd say the star of the museum is probably the dinosaur and paleontology floor. You can watch actual paleontologists at work. The bottom floor has a childrens museum complete with water play. The current traveling exhibit focuses on tyrannosaurs and is excellent. It will be there for a year. There's a 3D theater. The cafe is a true restaurant with real meals, not just snacks. They have plenty of healthy options in a cooler near the register. It took us several hours to see and do everything, so wear your walking shoes and set aside an entire day to explore the museum.

    Impressive, very well done!
This museum was excellent! One of the nicest we’ve been to. The displays were high quality and it had a lot to see but yet wasn’t so packed with stuff and information that you felt overwhelmed, as if you wouldnt get to do it all in one day. That said, we spent 4 hrs here including lunch, gift shop, and the whale movie, and we could have easily spent another hour or 2 to read more of the info. The only thing we didn’t do was the children’s museum section. My favorite was the dinosaur exhibits, including the temporary t-rex one. And the gem section was absolutely breathtaking. And I’m not even into geology all that much. But beauty is beauty! Me, my wife, my mother in law, and my 3 kids aged 11-19 all really enjoyed it and I would love to go back if we’re ever in Dallas again.

Great day activity in Dallas with kids
One of the best interactive museums I’ve visited - and my 12 year old is of the same opinion. Plenty of options to explore. Plenty of space to move around. Pretty much impossible to finish in a day as you do get tired out. Diverse topics to explore and experience (universum, energy, sports, robotics, …)

Excellent museum, well worth the visit...
This is an excellent science museum. It has many interactive exhibits, which kids seemed to especially love. The T-Rex exhibit was really cool. First time I've seen a T-Rex model with hair. This is well worth the visit and the cost.

    A must see museum
I’ve visited many science museums over the years but I found this to be one of the best , especially the astrology and minerals. The collection of crystals was amazing and presented in an engaging and informative way. A good mix of experiences for both adult and child.

    Out of town family trip
This museum is phenomenal. Make sure to give yourself all day to visit because even then you won’t see and experience it all. So many fun and engaging interactive exhibits. It was very very busy so be prepared for crowds thought our experience may have been skewed due to the eclipse travelers. Definitely a good place for a family to visit and the restaurant onsite was reasonably priced with a good variety of options.

    Well worth a visit!
We went to the Perot Museum the day before the Eclipse and I think much of Dallas was there. The museum was very interesting and well worth a visit, and I think the museum was about filled to capacity. Huge crowd. The museum staff were very helpful and the exhibits were very well done. My only complaint was that it was crowded, but I think more than a million people had gone to Dallas to see the Eclipse so it was what it was. Awesome Texas history and memorabilia assembly. We bought the Dallas City Pass and this was one of the attractions included. The City Pass was well worth the value. If you are in Dallas, see this museum.
