    Great Sanctuary
Been to a few Big Cat rescues in FL, this is by far the best kept one. Habitat areas are larger, clean, and it looks more like a Zoo, in a positive way! It is obvious they get a lot of financial support. they even do two shows which was nice. Animals are well cared for and amazing to see so close.

Once in a lifetime being so close to the big cats and bears!
Our family visited the Big Cat Habitat and had a great time! As we entered we were so surprised to see a lion right there in the first cage. So close and so beautiful. We got amazing pictures as we walked along and learned about the bears, turtles, tigers, lions, and a liger! We enjoyed the shows, amazing connection with the birds and tigers. We stood and talked to the volunteers as the kids fed tigers through the cage - so friendly and full of fun facts! Highly recommend. The whole park is clean and well kept. We had snacks and water at the food stand. Clean bathrooms.

    Lemur Animal Encounter was great!
The Animal Encounter with the Lemurs was fantastic! The presentation was informative and the Lemurs were so much fun! They were active and friendly and enjoyed interacting with us! Definitely a highlight of our trip! And the admission to the rest of the park was included for free for our party of 4. Treat yourself to a wonderful memory! Thank you to our presenter and animal handler Savannah!!

    Small zoo of exotic animals
This is the 2nd time I have been here. The 1st time was 7 years ago and this time I took my mother. The exotic cats are beautiful. They have bears, goats, camels, llamas. Nice little place with a bird show and a cat show. We spent a few hours. There are dirt and cement areas that are easy to walk on if someone needs a walker and they have bathrooms. It is family friendly with snacks. You can pay to feed some of the animals hot dogs. I would highly recommend it. It is worth the $25 and easy to get to. My mother loved the big cats.

Wild Animal Encounters at Big Cat Habitat
Big Cat Habitat has small "Animal Encounters" as a side adventure. We took the animal encounter with foxes. There are also encounters with lemurs, bobcats and wolves. My 4 granddaughters, ages 8-14, loved it! You enter a small caged area, about 20'x20' and sit on pads. The foxes enter the area and interact with the visitors. The foxes were a bit skittish but the children could pet them. The encounter includes entrance to the Big Cat Habitat which is also a favorite.

    Definitely worth it!
Bigger and more diverse than we expected! We stayed nearly 3 hours. Definitely see the 1:00 and 2:00 free shows. They are amazing and the leaders are so funny. These people are doing a service to the animal kingdom as well as educating the public. It’s a must see if you are in the area! Loved it!

    Fun and Educational
Big Cat Habitat recues exotic animals and cares for them humanely. We saw primates, camels, bears, birds, tortoises, ligers, tigers, lions, and more. It offers a "Bird Show" and a "Cat Show" on open days. The trainers share their knowledge of these beautiful animals. It's a great outing for families with children. There are opportunities to feed animals and/or take a souvenir picture with one.

Up CLOSE to the cats, and passionate caretakers.
The people who work here are passionate about the safety, well being and the education of this majestic cats. This is not a zoo but a place for cats that cannot be in the wild for various reasons to live their best lives. We had a long conversation with some of the caretakers and they speak of these cats as their own children. The thing that really separates this location from other is how close you get to the animals. I've never seen these big cats so close and they are striking animals. I highly recommend a visit here with or without kids, because this sanctuary is simply impressive.
