Billed as the biggest walk through aviary in the world its easy to forget that you actually in an aviary during you visit. Most if the park is landscaped with trees, rivers ind plants to give the birds (and monkeys) as natural a home as possible. Some species are in separate cages but the number of birds in the main area means they have plenty of birds to interact with as in the wild. There are plenty of sheltered areas to rest when it gets hot as well as two snack and drink kiosks and multiple toilets. There is ramped access everywhere, although some areas are a bit steep due to the layout of the land. There are alternative routes to get round the steepest areas. There are regular feeding shows at fixed times during the day. Some of the birds seemed fearless and were happy to walk right next to you. Opportunities to have your photo taken with birds are available in a couple of areas, we would recommend feeding the lorries for the best value (2RM). Finally you can also buy fish food for the main pools of fish around the aviary, for this you will need two 0.5rm coins or to visit one of the kiosks.

A remarkable experience was enjoyed by all of us when we fed milk to parrots. There is a wide variety of birds, including a number of uncommon species and stunning peacocks. Go early in the morning so that you won't miss any of the shows. Due to the fact that we arrived a little bit late, we were only able to watch the two least shows.

It was more like a bird zoo. Too many caged birds for me. Mostly peacocks and parrots The bird show was poor. Stereotyped and old fashioned Top tip is to go to the hornbill Cafe and buy a coffee. Be there from 11-12 and you will see the hornbills being fed. For free. It was my best photo. Don’t bother paying for the Park

Without any prior expectations we were pleasantly surprised by this attraction. Located adjacent to the Perdana Botanical Garden, a short drive from Central Market (don't try and walk there!), the Bird Park offers an extensive variety of birds to view. Walk through the aviaries at your own pace and take time to watch the bird show. We arrived at around 2.00pm and there was no queue. A pleasant way to spend time on a steamy afternoon. Hint: There is only minimal rain cover so come prepared for adverse weather.

A lovely bird park with colourful avaries. Birds fly free in almost a natural habitat. Bring your camera and get great shots ranging from parrots to peacocks. Reasonable price and walkable from a nearby MRT station. Great opportunity to expose your children to the world of birds.

I knew coming here, it would not be a match to Bird Paradise in Singapore. But i enjoyed it nonetheless. Birds are free to fly around. There are tons of peacocks wandering about, but it must have been molting season as the peacocks were dropping their feathers. The weather was incredibly hot in early April, we had gone morning when to be done by noon . You can walk under the shade of the trees which were plenty. The only negative is that we noticed holes in the nets in some areas which would enable birds to either escape or enter the aviary. It does look run down in some parts. The ostrich section was abit sad, vegetables were left in a basket so visitors could feed it, there was no one manning the place.

Really enjoyed the visit within the park. They have a lot of different bird species. Entrance will cost 40 MYR but I think it’s worth it. BTW there are also monkeys within the park.

Spent 4 hours walking through well kept enclosures and gardens. Suitable for prams and children. Entertainment show with parrots was fun and entertaining. Plenty to do and see. Ice creams and drinks were very reasonable. Would recommend getting a Grab ride there as it's uphill and too far to walk from Kuala Lumpar station. I grabbed a Grab near Merdeka Square and we'll worth the RM8.00 to the Bird Park entrance.

This is quite a big park, & there are lots of birds to see. There's also a show/presentation, & that wasn't as good to see. However, right next to the stage, there's a big area for great pics with a waterfall and rocks & whatnot, which was great to visit (probably the best part of the whole park).

Super activity for going with kids. Amazing place to see nice birds in freedom. Very well organized and clean. Also the restaurant there is a good option for having lunch after visiting the park.
