There are a few things you really should know before going here. This, in essence, is a $20 photo opertunity. The bridge is a 20-minute cable car ride, and on the day we attended, it was very wet with low clouds, so the cable car ride was somewhat diminished for photos, etc. You don't need a guide, so as to be stuck to someone else schedule. You really don't, just get a grab, buy your ticket on arrival, and be assured there will be many taxis looking for your business when you come back down. Get there early or late, all the tours and coaches arrive at circa 09.30 and both the cable car and bridge are mayhem, yet when we were desending at 14.00 many of the ascending cable cars were empty. The bridge is a novelty photo opportunity and possibly worth a visit just for that. A further 5 minutes in another cable car (already paid for with your initial ticket) will take you to the top of the hills, which is in essence a Disneyland type creation and unless you have kids in tow simply don't bother. It's just plastic creations looking like medieval villages and gothic type churches, etc, and a myriad of food options. That said, we ate in the little Tokyo barbecue and sushi buffet, which was OK, but only because we were there anyway. So, no guide, get to the bridge for the 07.30 opening or shortly thereafter, or else wait until about about mid day. One hour is more than sufficient to get your photos, skip the hills, taxi back to your hotel and your wrapped in less time than you will queue with a tour and thereafter be stuck there all day, wishing you'd listened to my advise.

Opting to explore the bridge in the morning proved to be a wise decision; not only was it less crowded, allowing for a more serene and intimate experience, but I also had the privilege of witnessing the breathtaking sunrise from the bridge. The early hours truly enhance the beauty and tranquility of the place. For those staying at the Mercure hotel, like myself, there are three exclusive trips offered in the morning - at 6:00 AM, 6:30 AM, and 7:00 AM. This convenient scheduling ensures that guests can experience the bridge at its best, without having to worry about large crowds or the day's heat. The architecture of the Golden Bridge is something that must be admired in person. Its wonderful design is not only a feast for the eyes but also a testament to human ingenuity. Coupled with the beautiful views and the fresh air, it creates an ambiance that is both uplifting and inspiring. Given my experience, I would highly recommend a visit to the Golden Bridge, especially in the early morning. Whether it's the less crowded paths, the chance to see the sunrise, or simply to enjoy the fresh air and stunning views, it's an experience that is sure to leave a lasting impression.

Great day trip. There is a lot more to the Golden Bridge. Once you purchase your ticket to travel up the cable car, you can continue to Ba Na Hills there is so much to see and do up there. We went on a cloudy day and it was still amazing. Very popular and touristy you need to go early. We did not book a tour, we arranged a Grab car to drop us off and pick us up at a certain time. On arrival, once you have your ticket there are 2 lines. A standard then a WOW line. These are for annual type passes. The line moves fast. The cable cars are stable and pretty comfortable, and the view up is incredible seeing back to Da Nang city and the coastline. The weather changes up and there and for us it was cold in the clouds and time even damp. There is an Ancient House to see at that stop also along with other cool sculptures. Was well worth seeing. Nice coffee stop there also.

The Buddhist Golden Bridge on Mount Panama is a must-see attraction to visit. The bridge is more than 100 meters long, with two Buddha hands on it, so it is famous. We visited in December, big fog, the view cannot be clearly seen, pay attention to prepare umbrellas and raincoats.

We went there by being accompanied by a taxi. He stopped to get tickets on the street (900,000 dong per adult) then stopped at the parking lot. From here you need to take the shuttle to get to the cable car. You arrive at a large amusement park organized in different areas. To move between areas you need to take other cable cars. The first area leads us to the suspension bridge. It's not very long but it excited me. The rest is a playground with an ugly replica (at least for us Europeans) of some parts of Europe. In any case, in my opinion, it is worth visiting it both for the bridge but also for the truly breathtaking cable car!

This was a spontaneous change of plan, we dropped off luggage at our hotel in Hoi An and took a detour to Ba Na Hills to go up the bridge for our engagement photos. It was raining the day before and was still cloudy but we were lucky the sky cleared up by the time we got to the bridge. It was a busy day, lots of other tourists and some were very inconsiderate (take this as a warning). It took a lot of waiting patiently to get a clear shot or at least some shots worthy of DIY engagement photos. The view was breathtaking. We were able to walk around to take more photos and the scenery of the entire Ba Na Hills were also beautiful, definitely worth a visit. We were told it would be less crowded in the morning or later in the day toward sunset, we didn’t stay for the sunset because we wanted to grab dinner and head back to Hoi A before dark, maybe we should have stuck around, but we definitely got what we came here for!

Very nice location for photos but it can get quite crowded in the afternoon. It is also better to visit in the morning as the clouds start to develop in the afternoon and the views become obstructed. The cable car ride is also very pleasant and enjoyable.

Take the long ropeway. It was supposed to be awesome, but I think it was still better because it was just before 8:00 in the morning on weekdays. As it looks, it's powerful. We have to find a place because we are all together. Also, the wind was so strong that if I wore a hat, I would have been thrown off.

We took a taxi from Da Nang centre to the Ba Na Hills, it took half an hour to be there. The ticket is quite expensive compared to the prices in Vietnam. The cable car takes 20 min to go uphill to the Golden Bridge. The view was amazing and then it was foggy at the bridge but it's worth to see it . Amazing 150m bridge, very busy, hold by 2 huge hands. Happy to have seen it!!!
