Pretty, but not a lot to see. The restaurant provides the same view
There is an entrance fee to see the Saraswati temple but there isn’t a lot to see apart from what is visible from the entrance. Therefore our suggestion is to go to the adjacent cafe and get a table right next to the water features of the temple. That way you can soak in the views but avoid the entrance fee, which will of course then be substituted by a drink / other purchase.

    Picturesque temple in Ubud center
You must adorn traditional Balinese garb when you enter temple (furnished) with the 35.000 rupiah admission. Some construction going on currently, but still plenty of nice photo ops. Don’t miss if nearby.

    Nice stop in Ubud
Judging from the reviews (that I didn't read before visiting) the temple had more to offer at other times. When we visited, what was available to see is what's the current cover picture of the site, if that makes sense. You do have to wear cover-ups for respect, which was OK, and they're part of the entrance fee. It's definitely a stop to make while walking around in Ubud.

    Nice, but nothing special
Admission fee is 50K, that includes sarong and other close you must wear to enter. Place is small, nice for pictures, but you get same view to many free temples, so not worth it in my opinion. Better take lunch next door in restaurant Lotus, where you can see inside the temple and get food for same 50k

    Beautiful visit
Although there isn’t a lot to do/see here, you can easily do this visit in 15mins, I really enjoyed it. It’s absolutely beautiful and a joy to visit. Entrance fee I think is reasonable and includes clothing to wear for respect. Beautiful little visit, I’d recommend.

    Oasis amid the chaos
An oasis of relative calm in Ubud - this water temple is just a few hundred meters from the somewhat underwhelming Ubud Palace. The stone carvings and lotus ponds off a respite from the craziness of Ubud Traffic, and a peaceful chance to cool down whilst enjoying the architecture and ambience. The 50,000R fee was worth it even for a short visit. The necessary coverings are provided at the entrance as part of the fee.

Small temple in the heart of Ubud
This lovely but place is in the centre of Ubud. Entrance fee is 50 idr. You must wear the sarong and all clothes they provide. You can walk around it. There is a restaurant located in it so you could enjoy the view longer. It can be visited in 15-20mimutes. Worth to combine the visit on the same day as the Palace since they are close to each other.

Amid lush ravines and picturesque rice fields, the Campuhan Ridge Walk is one of the most popular treks in Ubud. You’ll start off the hike at the meeting point of the Wos Rivers by the historic core of this charming Bali town. Stop along the way to take in the views and recharge with some coffee overlooking the peaceful lily ponds. About three miles there and back, the trail is best enjoyed around sunrise and sunset, when temperatures are milder. After the hike, don’t miss Ubud’s vibrant city center, where you can shop for handicrafts and visit ancient landmarks. – Tripadvisor

Puri Saren Agung is the place where Ubud's long tradition of home stays all began, more than 80 years ago, when Bali first started to attract bohemian artists from around the world. Renting one of five traditional stone bungalows in the sumptuous royal courtyard is still quite an experience, and every night the palace comes alive with the sound of Gamelan music as Balinese dances are performed just across the wall from Puri Saren Agung.

  • Yeh Pulu Temple Hotels
Yeh Pulu Temple Build on 14th or 15th century and are in a very attractive rice field setting. You can reach Yeh Pulu on foot through the rice fields from Goa Gajah but you will definitely need a guide for the 45 minute walk as there is no path to speak of. Alternatively turn off the Ubud to Gianyar main road about 400 metres east of the entrance to the Goa Gajah complex. Drive through Banjar Batulumbang until the road comes to an end. For here walk down the track to Yeh Pulu passing the small warung on your left. As well as the carvings there is a holy well here and the attendant priest will be happy to bless you with the well water. Temple dress code applies here. Yeh Pulu is a much under-rated and under-visited site - highly recommended.
