    Interesting artwork
There is a lot of interesting artwork in this church. It is very beautiful. We went to see the painting of the last supper with the roast quinea pig. The admission is 40 soles which was $10 US when we were there. It was probably worth that.

Cusco, delight of a city; and the cathedral, the Latin "Saint Peter" (Vatican).
We went to visit Machu Picchu and stayed in Cusco. Nice, very pleasant city. The people are very hospitable, the city is safe (guards roam the streets and are in the main square, right where the cathedral is). Very good cuisine, one of the best in the world (of course we ate ceviche, lomo saltado and drank pisco). Returning to the cathedral, very beautiful. Although the outside is not so "refined", inside there is an infinite number of works (paintings, sculptures, wood, silver, gold, etc.) that are eye-catching. Each little space has a work - I would say that, keeping the appropriate proportions, it looks a little like the Vatican cathedral.

Worth the 40 Soles admission price of admission
Simultaneously impressive, gaudy and in a few places rundown. Photography is forbidden, so I have no internal pictures. You can certainly google the silver altar and the painting of the last supper (with guinea pig as the main course).

Astonishing interior with so much beauty to see with a massive area to explore and dramatic exterior in popular square.
Beautiful inside and out with a huge area to explore. The cathedral is split into various areas. I thought I had seen it all only to turn around and realise there was another part to walk to. The astonishing artefacts - the gold and silver is jaw dropping in its intricate design and quality. Statues and ornaments with elaborate ceilings and wall paintings the size of a house are a sight to behold. There is no photography allowed but you should be consumed by the things you get to see. The guide was excellent and provided fascinating detail. So much to hear about. Outside the glorious exterior complements with equally ornate decor to what you have seen inside. Excellent location of course; the buzz of the vibrant city is infectious.

    Impressive!
Very beautiful and serene stop. The entrance ticket covers the whole complex and has so much to see. Sadly you're not able to photograph to remember. Guides are available outside to explain more of what you're seeing, which can be helpful especially if you're not of the Catholic faith. Would definitely recommend.

One of the most imposing religious buildings in Peru. It is majestic.
Located near the Central Square, this Cathedral is beautiful. The main exterior façade, with its 3 doors, is beautiful, and at certain times it is still sublimated by sunlight and becomes glittering! Its interior architecture, with its 3 naves, its vaults of warheads, its high altar, its altarpieces, make it an admirable building. Besides the sublime paintings, there is a whole mixture of Inca and Christian symbols that make it all the singularity, all the Beauty.
