    A nice day out
Loved the Zoo and the kids had a wonderful time too. Very clean and beautiful gardens. A big thanks to the staff member who had a chat about the wild monkeys, lucky we were not chased for long. Loved the presentations and the tram. I did feel some of the enclosures were a bit small.

Enjoyed our visit and loved the animals and zoo!
We arrived early on a Sunday and entered upon opening at 8.30 am. We had read online it can get very busy. We spent 3 hrs walking around and taking it all in. It’s a beautiful, lush, amazing zoo where it feels like you can reach out and touch the animals and that they’re free to roam around unlike other zoos we’ve been too. When we return to Singapore will do a night safari, which I think will be awesome. Numerous taxi drivers mentioned to us that Bird Paradise is very good, so will do that next time for sure.

    Zoo Day
After the 3rd time of visiting Singapore, I finally made it to the Singapore Zoo (as part of the Go City pass). Unfortunately the rain spoilt the visit a bit but I did get around the zoo and enjoyed the many animals there. I spent around five hours at the zoo, as I love taking photos so took the time to wonder around in between the rain. A wonderful day spent at the zoo and it comes highly recommended.

    High Standards
We were very impressed. Two exhibits we could have watched for hours, the first being the island based orangutans, and the second the pack of baboons. Both fascinating. We chose to walk the zoo during the day and don’t have any regrets about that. The Asian elephants were also interesting to watch; I was surprised by how many animals were active given the heat and humidity. The enormity of the building site (noise and activity) next door initially caused me concern. I can’t say of course, the impact upon the exhibits. Finally, I was told by a staff member that there is also a free roaming family of orangutans (tree ropes) but couldn’t find any evidence of them.

Feeding elephants and rhinos is amazing
Had an awesome time - we booked feeding times with the animals prior to visiting. It costs SGD 8 and you get to come up to the animal real close, it was great fun. There is a train that takes you all around the premises. There are also normal feeding times with several other animals, where you can watch staff feeding and get lots of cool info on those specific animals. The Zoo is not too big.

    bring water bottle, arrive early
Bring a water bottle cause you can fill up all over the park for free. Take advantage of the tram and its four stations around the park to beat the heat. Arrive early to get ahead of crowds, but that's good advice for anything. Taxis were hard to get in the early afternoon.

    Great experience
Probably the best zoo I have been to with the most natural feel to it. It's quite big so the free tram from exhibit to exhibit really helps. The animals look very well cared for. We watched the seal show when we arrived and the elephant show a bit later, both were lovely. Overall a great experience and I would highly recommend

    Orangutans were the best
First, realize how far out of the main part of Singapore the zoo is. It is quite away from downtown area. When you get dropped off, you have a decent walk just to get to the zoo. We really enjoyed the orangutans and the elephants. There are monkeys all around the zoo that will steal your stuff, so be careful. The trams run every 15-20 minutes but we did not use them. The cover at the zoo is plentiful which helps with the heat. I would recommend coming in the morning.

The best zoo in the world!
What an incredible zoo this is. A very natural environment for the animals and incredibly well laid out. Lots of opportunities for education on animal wellbeing and especially for kids. An amazing visit to a place that must be on everyone’s list visiting Singapore. Don’t miss it

    Geek out on animals!
We spent more than half a day enjoying the different areas. My favorite was the pygmy water hippopotamus. The little guy kept swimming towards the viewing area. It was a sight to behold. Definitely worth the visit.
