What a wonderful park. As a Brit I do love a garden or a park so it seemed natural to spend part of my time in Tallinn here. I got the no 3 tram (you can also get the no 1 I believe) from near Tallinn old town to the park. Started a walk(wish I'd taken a picture of garden map at the tram stop - my WiFi was playing up) and just wandered for ages. Beautiful lake, really lovely planting and lots of places to sit and enjoy. The real highlight was the Kadriog palace, built by Peter the great. It was just delightful. I was concerned I'd have to pay to enter the gardens by going into the Art museum but no, you can just walk up the steps alongside the Palace and enjoy the waterfalls and vibrant planting without payment.It was a really delightful experience, and so lovely to see locals enjoying the park with their families and friends.

During our Tallinn trip we visited this attraction. This park is beautiful area almost in the centre of Tallinn. The plants are shaped very nice. In this park also placed Estonian President residence. This Friday night it was light show in this park. Incredibly amazing!

Chestnuts, oaks, maples. Alleys with benches in the historic park. It's nice to sit and get some fresh air in the warm weather and just walk. Squirrels really love the park. Visitors feed them nuts.

This park is swell worth a visit. The palace itself is beautiful and has some interesting art but we were more interested in Peter the Greats house which is very well displayed and explained. We also enjoyed a stroll down to the Russian monument by the sea. A full day ( including KUMU) very well spent.
