The bridge is impressive, even if it is a shame that the synagogue and the Jewish quarter were demolished to build it; that would certainly not be done today. It exudes a faith in the future and creates an architectural counterpoint in the middle between the historic old town, the castle and the new socialist city on the other bank of the Danube. From above, it is interesting how well the city is structured. The ride up in the elevator is quick, the entrance is somewhat hidden at the bottom of the bridge pillar. I think that when you are in Bratislava, you have to go up there, stand on the viewing platform and take a look at the restaurant below. The price for the ride up is far too high and shows that you take what you can take here.

It runs very well. You arrive under the bridge and charged approximately 40 Euros - family of four. Card facilities are on site. You get into an elevator which takes you some 90m up where you climb out into a reception. You then climb a few stairs and you are out of the observation deck. Below is a restaurant although we looked at the menu, the prices seemed a little high, but I assume the food matched the prices. Overall a well run smooth experience.

The ufo on the end of a bridge over the Danube into Bratislava is a unusual fun creation from the Soviet era. Entrance is €9 then it’s up the 95 m in 45 seconds in the small lift. From the restaurant level there are some more flights of steps up to the top observation platform. Fab 360 degree views from there, Hungary and Austria visible on a good day. Good cafe at lift level with decent service, we didn’t have time to try the well reviewed restaurant. Overall it’s a fun way to see Bratislava!

Well worth a visit. I hadn't intended to do this whilst in Bratislava, but others in our group wanted to. I'm glad we did. It's an enjoyable 15min stroll from the castle across the Danube. Entry is €9 weekdays, €12 on weekends. A lift takes you to the entrance to the UFO cafe near the top, before a stair access to the observation deck on top. Great panoramic views across the city and over towards Austria as well. Decided to get a drink in the bar area of the UFO cafe as well, reasonably priced for the location. Seats were really uncomfortable, suspect it is to keep a high turnover of customers each day - it would be tempting to stay longer if that wasn't the case as there are great views from the panoramic windows. Toilets are... exposed, to put it lightly!

Last summer we went to Bratislava - and since we were there we tried the UFO Restaurant ... now that experience is already captured in a previous review I've posted - so once we've finished our lunch we took the last few steps to the observation deck above the restaurant. And have to admit - the views are great ... somewhat similar with what you have looking out the window of the UFO restaurant - but here is no glass to look through. You can visit only the observation deck - without the restaurant - and it is about the same steps you need to go through, stay in que - even if you've got your online ticket , get the elevator to the top floor - and take the few steps leading to the observation deck - so be careful if you have any challenges to mitigate steps ... the last part of the "path" to get to the observation deck, involves several steps. What I can tell you - it is worth it , even if you are not dinning at the restaurant itself , but for sure the views from the deck everybody will enjoy. When in Bratislava, you have to get on top of UFO

There are some excellent views from the top, but these could also be achieved from visiting the castle free of charge. We felt it was overpriced (12€ each for entry) for what it was. Having visited the Petrin Tower in Prague - which is cheaper entry, more interesting and far superior views - this wasn’t worth it. Also had a drink in the bar and we were overcharged - I ordered an orange juice which on the menu was €2.90, and when the bill came it was €4.90. When I queried it, I was told ‘you were given the more expensive one’ (which I didn’t ask for) and had to pay it. Disappointing experience all round but luckily we got some nice views on a sunny day.

Exciting ride in the oblique support, you have found the hidden entrance. Good views of the city and Danube. Short distance from the cruise ships. Overall good idea to design (and market) a cable-stayed bridge that is visible from afar as a technically successful landmark and tourist magnet

The UFO Tower in Bratislava offers an incredible experience with its breathtaking panoramic views of the city and the Danube River. The unique design and atmosphere make it a must-visit. The restaurant serves delicious food with top-notch service, adding to the overall amazing experience. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Bratislava!

Wanted to go here when I first saw before travelling, stroll.over the bridge and take the elevator. The views was amazing from the top if a little bit blowy bit this added to the experience. Had a hot drink in the restaurant afterwards which has seating allocated for this. The menu for dinner looks quite expensive butmim sure the views over the river at night are stunning.

This bridge is an architectural marvel that is worthwhile in itself to pass to Bratislava whose construction was completed under the Communist era in 1972. You get in an elevator that goes diagonally up one of the branches of the observation point. Once at the top, there is a bar and restaurant and then a staircase to reach the observation point in the open air. It shows the Danube, the castle and a panorama of the whole city. Bring some binoculars!
