Our tour with Filip was amazing and I am so thankful my wife found out about this tour and booked it! Filip is the owner of the company, NOT just an employee and you can see immediately that he has a passion for his clients and that they have a great time spent with him. He was so happy to tell us all about the history of the city as well as showing us the best places to take photos and eat lunch! I don't know the name of the restaurant, at the moment but it was so good! The tour was very informative and thorough, yet there was plenty of time to roam around and get some excellent photos of this extremely charming village. It was certainly worth drive to / from Prague and I'd give Filip 6 stars if Trip Advisor would let me. Probably one of the Top Five tours I've ever been on, it's that good!

Filip our tour guide knew everything about this place. He safely drove us to and from Prague including through a very nasty hail storm. His knowledge of the history of this town was astounding and presented in a semi humorous form. He took extremely good care of us all, including a fellow tourist who was back 1.5 hours late to the agreed meeting point to go home.

Huge and refined monumental complex, by extension the second largest in Bohemia. A must-see destination, panoramic views of the historic center of the town, scenery of exceptional beauty. It includes forty buildings, five courtyards and a garden. Built in the 13th century, over the years it has been enlarged and revised in Renaissance style and later in Baroque and Rococo style.

We walked through the outside of the castle on a free walking tour, which was fabulous. The views over town are spectacular. We returned the next day with tickets for an English tour of the baroque theater - WOW. This was an incredible and unique site… definitely recommend visiting if you can (get tickets in advance).

Were there with a family friend for a day trip. Are of course also up to the castle. There, the bears were especially interesting for the children. At the castle, the views of the city down are also very beautiful. It's getting quieter out the back of the park. Definitely go upstairs!

We had a walking tour through the castle grounds and into the courtyards. There are terrific views and very interesting architecture. It was fascinating to learn a little bit about the history of the castle and area. But when we crossed the bridge over the moat, there was no water. Instead, there were black bears! That could be an effective deterrent to invaders, I suppose, in the past. But now? It was a little bit confusing, and sad.

Wow, what views you can get from just walking around the castle. Note that we couldn't visit any of the inside parts due to us being with our dog, but still, the whole castle impressed us. Especially the views over Cesky Krumlov are super nice when the weather is good (like we had). Definitely recommended, especially considering that it is free to walk around all over the castle.

Beautiful to visit imperative despite all you have done before. 1 hour visit in English with text in French if needed. Well translated and good English. There are visits in August non stop, no need to book and it is good we are few. Photo possible without flash and free. Attention we go up and down stairs during the visit and it climbs to get there. But what a view of the city. Especially as you can walk through the castle and access the garden for free
