The station is the hallmark of the city. I remember Brussels with a shudder, but Antwerp struck me with many things. It's a very beautiful building, both outside and inside. Trains arrive and depart at 5 (!) levels. Lots of box offices, ticket machines with a very simple interface. I liked the fact that you buy a ticket to a built-up area on any train, not for a specific time, on trips around Belgium. And don't bother with it - compost, buy a new one if you haven't made the train. And if you buy a return ticket for a return trip, there's a 50% discount. I lived near the train station, but no inconvenience from marginalized individuals, no fear of returning to the hotel in the evening. There is a supermarket in the station premises that was open on the weekend. And just outside the station a lot of attractions - a zoo, a diamond quarter, a beautiful park, begins a shopping street leading to the city center.

Beautiful Catholic cathedral intertwining religious and city history. The presence of Our Lady is visible throughout the Cathedral and the city. Highly recommend a tour to allow time to see the artwork outside of religious practices.

Absolutely beautiful architecture. It was chosen as one of the most beautiful stations in the world several times by prominent international newspapers. The station was opened in 1905. In 1975, it became a protected monument. It consists of a steel platform and a stone station building. You can simply enter it for free as it is a railway station which is still in use. On the side, from the outside you can see also a metal structure beautifully attached to the building.

Antwerpen-Centraal Station is a grand entrance to the city of Antwerp. The station's architecture is impressive, and it's a great place to start your exploration of the city. The station is also very convenient, with connections to many other cities in Belgium and Europe. I would recommend taking some time to wander around the station and admire its beauty before you catch your train.

We took Eurostar from Amsterdam Centraal station to Antwerp Centraal. This is a beautiful station to see! We found a kiosk and purchased outright one way ticket to Brugge. The trains are a little confusing because if you are going to a smaller destination on the routes. You need to look at all the stops and find the one with the shortest time if that is important to you. Also, people around you are very hekpful if you have questions. We did not find any information center in the station where you could ask for information. Use Google on your phone, read the electronic train schedules posted, and ask a friendly fellow traveler. Figuring out how to take European trains is part of the excitement and fun of traveling.

Antwerp Central Station is one of the most beautiful train stations I’ve ever seen! The architecture is grand, and the interior is just stunning, with its marble floors and high ceilings. Even if you’re not traveling by train, it’s worth a visit just to admire the building. I took a lot of photos here—it’s truly a masterpiece of design. The station is also very easy to navigate, making it a convenient place for travelers.

We transited Antwerpen Centraal ( actually who doesn’t?) from Brugge on our way to embark on a Celebrity Cruise. Architecturally, the station is fabulous. Administratively, the station is excellent. Easy to find where you need to go and how to do it. The staff we engaged were friendly, effective, and helped in no small way. One of the better, best stations we’ve used that greatly assists weary travellers

We took a wrong turn and passed this station. At first we thought it was a cathedral, so beautiful. This has inspired us to explore Antwerp further. What a beautiful station, when you stand inside, you can imagine how they used to travel here, with the old suitcases, chic dresses, neat suits and so on. Then discovered Antwerp, great!
