This has to be one of the highlights of our visit! Breathtaking and beautiful! On our drive to the volcano, everything is beautiful, clean and dramatic to look at! To drive into the national park there isn’t a fee but we were never going to use the cable cars to The top - thru having a fear of heights and really didn’t fancy it! We were told the cost of the cable cars was 40 euros to the top and back and it was eight minutes up and eight minutes back down! It was cold closer to the top we drove. People planning to walk were advised to get a permit from the authorities prior to making a walk up! Buildings located about half a mile from the cable cars seen as an information centre, snack and comfort stop! Absolutely worth the drive! The scenery is awesome… outstanding and quite breathtaking!

If you are in Tenerife you can not miss visiting this beautiful place. We are Neapolitans, and the volcano plays at home, Vesuvius is beautiful, but also Mount Teide is lovely, I recommend going there with a rental car, so that along the way you have the opportunity to stop whenever you want, to capture beautiful memories. I recommend to those who want to climb to the top using the cable car, to equip themselves with heavy clothing and jackets , at the top it is cold forget to be at sea hihihih, along the way there are also equipped areas in the woods with the possibility of lighting fires for barbecues. An unmissable excursion to Tenerife. Unfortunately we didn't climb to the mouth of the volcano, because the zip line was closed due to too much wind. I absolutely suggest the path of the roques de Garcia, not only seeing the first formations, although beautiful. The route is easy and is 5 km long. The landscape is very varied and extreme, the "cathedral" is majestic and impressive. I also recommend a fascinated to the threats of San José, dunes that vary from hour to rust, with spurs of brownish rock. Beautiful. You have to love the pebbles and the lunar landscapes with changing colors. Many hikes in the caldera. The Garcia circuit is very beautiful, the lift is rough😀 For the cable car, book well in advance and not trust the time down, the Teide is almost always uncovered. On the other hand so good weather, incredible view. Both paths are broken cobblestones so not easy for anyone with walking difficulties.

Magnificent place! The road is wide and easy to drive 🚗 I recommend leaving in the morning to fully enjoy the day but above all find parking (there are several at this time of year). We took the cable car to get near the top of Teide, spectacular!

What a wonderfully beautiful park to drive through. The volcano towers above everything and the surroundings are great to be in. The environment and especially the dried lava remains are, in a word, moon-like. The plants and flowers that grow here are also very special and give it a very unreal impression. The route to El Times is easily accessible by car and you do not drive over all kinds of abysses and sharp bends. Suggestions are to go in the morning because of the heat

Booked with Volcano Teide through TravelON WORLD Mount Teide Tour with Cable Car Tickets and it was a great day! This included being picked up from a location close to our villa and dropped off. Our tour guide sorted everything so we didn’t need to queue for the cable car, we jumped right up the front! We took a picnic with us but there is a cafe on site. The views were spectacular! The cable car isn’t recommended for people with heart conditions (which we discovered after we purchased the tickets) but our lovely tour guide was able to sell the cable car ticket to a person who couldn’t get a ticket. Win win!

Even the welcome by our guide Ozzi was super friendly. He speaks several languages and thus the communication was very good. After picking up more guests, we went to the national park immediately. Along the way, Ozzi told us a lot about himself and then a lot of interesting things about Tenerife, the people and history. Once in the national park, he showed us dreamlike places and knew a lot about it. We have visited the park before, but here we were individually looked after, advised and got completely different insights. We can definitely recommend this tour and will definitely book a tour there again on our next visit to the island.

It is worth going up for the views of Tenerife and the rest of the islands. Once at the top there is a small marked walk, it is not a long distance, it can be traveled perfectly. It's very windy so it's advisable to bring something warm up. On the cable car it is a bit crowded. Personally it's cool but without being a woooowww!!!! (It depends a lot on whether or not you have had the opportunity to climb other volcanoes or other mountainous areas).
