    Most interesting visit
This experience is excellent, interesting for young and old alike. It’s ideal for anyone with an interest in Victorian engineering or what life was like for the working population during WW2 . The volunteer guides, John and Graham made the visit even better by their obvious enthusiasm and knowledge for the subjects. We should thank George too for his welcome salute and cheerful wave farewell.

    Top of my Newcastle experiences!
What a fantastic piece of history and a great experience. Kay and Pete took us back to 1800s and wartime, they made our visit both informative and fun (despite Pete's 'Dads jokes' 😄). A big thank you to them both for a memory of Newcastle we won't forget. ...proud to meet a Geordie!

    Amazing experience
Staying on holiday on Ashington and it was highly recommended we visit Victoria Tunnels. We were not disappointed. Mike and Mal were our tour guides for the evening and were so informative on the history of the tunnels as well as extremely entertaining. We will definitely recommend to others.

    Fantastic!
We booked the 2 hour tour as a couple and had a fantastic time! This included a short tour leading up to the tunnels and the rest underground. Our tour guides Michael and John were fantastic from start to finish, keeping it incredibly interesting, highly recommend!

Fabulous trip back in time with our guides Sarah and Kev. Both very knowledgeable and gave an insight into the history of this gem hidden under Newcastle. Sarah's first time as a solo guide and she clearly knew what she was talking about. Well worth a visit.

I went on the tour with my dad and partner and we all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Our tour guides pete and Dave ( hope I got the names correct) we're absolutely phenomenal. The height of information was incredidible and I would highly recommend coming and experiencing the tour we did the 2 hr one and it didn't disappoint.

    Great bit of Newcastle history
Loved it. Mike and Trevor were fantastic guides and I loved the anecdotes provided combined with facts - not that those things are mutually exclusive! Both very friendly, happy to share knowledge and look out for anyone that might be a bit claustrophobic. Cannot speak highly enough of them both and we are so glad we took this tour.

    Well worth a visit!
We live local in North Tyneside and have always said we would visit each time we passed the entrance. We finally booked a few weeks ago. We did the hour and a quarter tour and it was great. The time flew by and we thoroughly enjoyed it!. Our tour guides Trevor and Mike were so knowledgeable, and added a great element of humour too. Thank you guys!

    Great tour, highly recommended.
What a fantastic tour. Our tour guides John and Graham were full of knowledge and really kept the 2 hour tour interesting. For me the tour held special interest as my mother was an occupant of the bomb shelter during WWII. I went for the WWII information but the pre-WWII history was just as compelling and explains a lot about the history and the people of Newcastle. Special shout-out to tour guide John who goes these extra distance to make sure that everyone has a memorable experience. If you are interested in learning about a unique piece of Newcastle history, highly recommended.
