One can enjoy the greeneries in the City as well as observing the forest ecosystem up-close. The nearby Taoyuan Martyrs' Shrine and Cultural Park houses Taiwan’s most well preserved Japanese shrine. It features a unique construction method and the old trees are decorated with hanging blessing amulets.
