- Alan TDyserth, United Kingdom45 contributionsDidn't stay in the hotel but ate in the restaurant. The service was excellent, friendly and professional. There was a good selection of dishes without there being a huge list, making it easier to choose; a good selection of local dishes also. We had a four course meal and the food was excellent, and plenty of it. I'd thoroughly recommend to anyone visiting Kortrijk.More Reviews of Hotel & Brasserie Damier RestaurantDear Guest, How wonderful to read that you enjoyed your dinner in our restaurant. - The Real DJUnited Kingdom159 contributionsMore Reviews of Parkhotel Kortrijk RestaurantStill the best hotel in Kortrijk - I’ve stayed here regularly over the last 12 years and seen a great deal of change. The latest extension is one step too far and whilst the rooms are ok, there is a lack of attention to detail. The Jules bar is great for a drink and a bar meal. The bistro restaurant is good quality food at a price (however the old menu with Flemish stew was better). This is a very good business hotel, but prices are on the high side.Visited January 2024Traveled on businessWritten July 28, 2024
- Edwin FCalgary, Canada1,739 contributionsMore Reviews of Hostellerie Klokhof Hotel RestaurantWe stayed at Hostellerie Klokhof Hotel for one night. The room was large and clean. The beds were comfortable. Breakfast was very good with many options. Lots of parking available, but would be difficult to find if you do not have GPS. Unfortunately the restaurant was not open when we stayed.Visited April 2023Traveled as a coupleWritten May 6, 2023
- Fiona FZottegem, Belgium84 contributionsMore Reviews of Hotel Messeyne RestaurantOrganising a surprise for my wife's birthday, I was searching for a hotel that had it all. Close to the center, nice rooms, wellness and top restaurant. And this one definitely had it all! On top of that, very friendly helpful staff, great service. Just 1 minor potential improvement opportunity for the wellness (sauna, hammam). As one can see into the sauna from the fitness room, it would feel a bit more comfortable if assuring privacy. A simple screen could do.Visited June 2022Written July 4, 2022
- DrRacSingapore, Singapore61 contributionsMore Reviews of The Market by Parkhotel RestaurantI am staying at the Center Hotel for a business trip. I have previously stayed at the Park and Square Hotels and this was my first time at Center. Truly a gorgeous place! Newly renovated huge room with masduve windows making the rooms bright and airy. Extrordinarily kind ladies at the restaurant and reception who would do anything for you. Taxi, hairdryer, iron no problem! Minibar was a great touch. When jetlagged it is annoying to go out to find a soft drink. Thanks for the great stay!Visited June 2019Traveled on businessWritten June 18, 2019
- bobimara49 contributionsMore Reviews of Ibis Styles Expo Kortrijk RestaurantSmall functional room, fine for a 1 night stay but not great for longer. Not great soundproofing, as I could hear the others. Difficult to shower without splashing on the bathroom floor, every time there was a puddle. Breakfast ok, although not a huge selection. Would not recommend the restaurant, only 4 dishes to choose from and microwave quality. Very expensive for what they are. No kettle in the room, as others have said. Positives are: free parking and Rituals products in the bathroom. Would not choose to go back, the Centrum one is much better.Visited April 2019Traveled on businessWritten April 12, 2019
- Yannick BMechelen, Belgium27 contributionsMore Reviews of Wu Wei RestaurantWe had a great time at Wu Wei. If you wan't to get fully relaxed, this is the place! There is also a restaurant available with delicious food. After our stay we noticed there was also a co-working space!Visited September 2018Traveled as a coupleWritten September 19, 2018
- Steve BWoodbridge, United Kingdom143 contributionsMore Reviews of Duivels Paterke RestaurantWe stayed in the Orval Room which is the best room in the main building above the restaurant. The room was large and well appointed, the en-suite bathroom had both a shower and a jacuzzi bath. There was a small area just outside the room with tea and coffee making facilities. The bar & restaurant are well stocked and offer a range of Belgian food and drink. The breakfast was a very good continental style with the option of eggs done however you'd like. The main reason for our visit was to sample some of the local beers and this hotel is perfectly placed for this being just a short walk to a variety of locations in the town. The parking is on-street and not guaranteed, although I had no problems all weekend. Parking is free on Sundays and after 6pm and costs just 2Euro50 for all day the rest of the time. Check-in time is from 1800 to tie in with the opening hours of the bar, if you arrive sooner you will need to find something to occupy yourself.Visited February 2018Traveled as a coupleWritten February 19, 2018
- Lesley BKingston-upon-Hull, United Kingdom50 contributionsMore Reviews of De Deugdzonde B&B RestaurantWe stayed here for a week at the end of August. My partner is disabled and uses a wheelchair all the time. The family could not have made us feel more welcome. Our room, no 6 was adapted; it is large with a very large bathroom containing a roll in shower. There are patio doors leading out onto a little terrace; the door is not accessible but that is not a problem as the seating is very close by. Parking is quite a way from the rooms but we were given one of the family's own parking spaces which was great. Anything to make our stay easy was done. The breakfast room is down 2 steps which could have been a problem but Piet was always available to help if needed. Piet will cook for his guests in the evening if required and the food is excellent. Breakfast is served at a time requested by the guests with freshly baked bread every day. The location is very rural, down a long country lane so it is not for the faint hearted but we managed and we were obviously foreigners so it was not an issue and we loved the tranquility. Kortrijk is a short drive away where there are restaurants etc, it is also a very attractive town. Ypres is also not far so that's great for visiting WW1 sites, and Gent is also accessible. There are peaceful country walks right on the doorstep, there are maps available to borrow. The family are very knowledgeable and can point you in the right direction to anywhere you want whether it be a restaurant or a tourist place. The immediate area as a whole is not full of tourists especially British tourists but just about everyone speaks excellent English so, again no problems. The only problem we experienced was the lack of cafes/bars open during the day. If you are out walking in the countryside take lunch and drinks. In one nearby small town there was not a single shop/cafe /bar open, it was like a ghost town. There were lots of cyclists and a few walkers but nowhere for them to go! Despite the changeable weather we had a great time. Thanks to Piet, Valerie and baby Georges.Visited August 2014Traveled as a coupleWritten September 3, 2014
- david 3826183 contributionsMore Reviews of Troopeird Hotel RestaurantI stayed in January for one night. I arrived at the hotel cold after a long meeting in an unheated factory. The reception greeting I received was fantastic. Went up to my room which was clean and comfortable, only problem (and not just with this hotel) is that the bed was only about 30cm off the floor. I had a long hot bath to warm up and went down to the restaurant for a meal. The food was fantastic and home cooked, only problem was that the heating didn't appear to be on but there was a log fire on the go. My only critism of this hotel is that the noise of people talking and doors opening carries. If you as I am are a light sleeper I wouldn't advise thsi hotel. Havind said that it is very rare these days that you are made to feel as welcome in a hotel as I was at the Troopeird. Would I stay again? possibly. If you are stayng fir leisure there is nothing around the hotel.Visited January 2012Traveled on businessWritten January 19, 2012
