Stop by the visitor center located in a beautifully constructed three season building steps from the tallest waterfall east of the Rockies: Taughannock Falls. This Visitor Center has re-opened for the season and is open seven days a week from 10am - 5pm. Please note masks are recommended inside the Visitor Center. Bet the Farm Winery began as a dream in 2006 to showcase the best in wine & food in the Finger Lakes and New York State. It has evolved into a boutique-scale winery; current production approaches 1200 cases per vintage year. Winemaker Nancy Tisch moved her wine production to a new winery & vineyard 10 minutes north of Ithaca, NY in 2018, featuring a tasting area overlooking the vineyard with Cayuga Lake and hills of Lansing and Dryden beyond. Nancy is assisted in her operations by husband & GM Kit Kalfs. Wine and food flights continue to be a highlight of sampling Nancy’s fruit-forward, complex and elegant wines.

Henry A. Smith Woods is a 32-acre old-growth forest located in Trumansburg, New York. It features hiking trails through this unique part of nature which has laid largely undisturbed since before the first settlers. In 1909, this undeveloped forest fragment was given by the sons of Henry Atterbury Smith (1822-1891), a New York City businessman, to the village to be forever preserved as a public park. The woods are now owned by the Cayuga Nature Center, which is committed to preserving it for future generations as an educational resource. An old-growth forest, also known as a primeval or virgin forest, is one that does not have any significant disturbance, particularly human, and usually has unique biodiversity features. Most forests in North America are secondary forests--in that they have been cut down and have since regrown. Old growth forests often have communities of plants and animals that have survived for long periods, sometimes even rare species that are not found elsewhere.

Salmon Pottery is an art gallery and studio in the village of Trumansburg that features the textured pottery of Mary Ellen Salmon, and a sophisticated collection of local artists and craftspeople. In the studio, Mary Ellen creates her unique ceramic work, and shares her knowledge through pottery classes. The art gallery is a welcoming place, with a great variety of media, scale, and prices; something for everyone. Sculptures by Jay Seaman adorn the front lawn, while lapidary work, fiber art, jewelry, ceramics, paintings, blown and stained glass, and paper crafts live inside. The bright yellow house sets the tone for your visit that will surely leave you smiling.
